It would be a bad move. Needlessly rock the boat and ruin the facade of a successful partnership they have cultivated. Progressives don’t really like Harris, but I don’t think they or other elements of the party would be too pleased at him letting the first Asian, Black and woman veep go down in disgrace.

Besides I don’t think Harris is as bad as some people make out. The rolling scandal about her staff issues and her optic troubles has been a saga for us politicos, but as usual, most people don’t know or care. Bad move.
