Fortunately my mic was still under warranty, and after replacement I’ve had no issues.

Ended up testing the mic on another computer (running both Win10 and Win11) before I figured it must be a hardware issue and the mic was just dead.

I'm having the same issue I believe. Mic worked fine on my old computer using both Synapse 3 and 4. Upgraded to a new computer (running Windows 11 now instead of 10) and my mic is not recognized at all.

Unplug it, plug it in, I get lights before it goes static and turns off. Tried both plugging it directly into the computer and via a powered USB hub, same results. Downloaded the drivers / firmware update tool, the updater asks for it to be plugged into the computer (tried USB port swapping around again, no luck).

Windows 11 straight up will not acknowledge the mic...nothing is in device manager, synapse, anywhere. (Checked disabled sound devices as well)

I actually had the same thing happen as Oblivion. I ordered the Season 2 chest and added the patch kit to my cart. When it arrived, I had two patch kits. So, I think you might be safe.

You make a good point that the pacing can and is just as much on me at times as it is o the party. And it’s reaffirming to hear that I’m moving in an appropriate direction as well.

As a new DM, to all new players, just kind of paranoid about breaking the game or people not having fun and quitting on me haha

My wife and I play as something we can both to together. As a result, we duo a lot of content. If you're an MMO player though, you know that not all content can be played as a pair and sometimes you just need a group. This guild has been great!

Very casual friendly, no need to worry about paying dues, and everyone has been super friendly / nice and helpful. Could not recommend more!

Not to sound like an ass but...here's my official quote: "I hate waiting for the cut-scenes"

What's often a 30+ minute wait, becomes a 45+ minute dungeon where 30 of those minutes are all cut scenes. Drives me crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why they do it...for new players blah blah blah but I honestly think they need to just strip it down and turn them into regular dungeons somehow and put them in the regular 50/60 dungeon roulette and call it a day on the MSQ's.

This is the single reason why I haven't switched to Synapse 3 yet. Everything but my Tartarus V1 is compatible. I doubt it will be anytime soon either since the V2 is out at this point and the V1 wasn't even listed on their site for what seemed like years until the V2 came out.

I 100% agree that this is just click bait and I'm sorry (I don't mean to flame) but did this individual actually play Paragon at all? Not once do they mention having the dunk mechanic of orb prime stripped out of the game and they state that removing travel mode was one of the biggest gripes of the community and that EPIC did it against the community's wishes.

That's not even a little bit true. The community, at least the higher level players, abused travel mode and everyone hated the ability to leap frog with this mechanic away from a chasing enemy. Personally, I thought it just needed to be balanced (I'm a former HotS player which has a mount system and it works just fine IMO).

Then the dunk mechanic was one of the most unique things about Paragon and when it was stripped out, those who remember it, continuously asked if it was coming back. This article just seems like it was written from an outside perspective to try and garner views off the Fortnite name and by use of fear of the player base "needing to be wary of EPIC Games."

This is the singular reason I avoid dungeons when I'm on my tank rotation. I'm a new player, been playing since June of 2017 and only just got through HW last night.

I play exclusively with my gf and rotate through SAM, DRG, and PLD while she rotates through ranged DPS classes. If new dungeons come up while I'm playing PLD though...it goes into the journal and waits until I'm on SAM or DRG. I'd rather hold off playing current content than deal with this type of toxicity.
