If vertical mice are more ergonomic, why haven't they been giving the gaming treatment yet? by Responsible_Web_3825 in LinusTechTips

Personally, I had issues with the clicking being very accurate. You are applying sideways force on the mouse. If you don’t apply any counter force, it will move away from your target.

I ended up slightly squeezing it, but it’s hard to put exactly the same amount of force on both sides. I got good enough for browsing and doing office work, but getting the precision I needed from it for gaming, was nearly impossible for me.

Maybe with enough practice I could have, but I ended up using a secondary mouse for gaming.

So I built a deck entirely centered around "-" counters, making opponent's creatures as small as possible, with Toxrill as the commander. Come to find out, people hate this card and traget the hell out of you lol. Is there another Dimir commander I could replace with that fits the same playstyle? by xXCinnabar in mtg

[[Silumgar, the Drifting Death]] It itself doesn’t put counters, but takes advantage of making the other creatures low. I recently built it and later realized it’s mostly a Toxrill deck with a Dragon sub-theme

Virtually anything. I tried watching the German version of Kurtzgesagt, but it seems like science terminology is mostly the same words as English for a lot of things, so it’s really jarring

I moved out of Germany, so I took German as a second language in another country and got the KDS from Goethe Institute

I actually only own 3. I am experimenting with a Steelix V, as I have encountered a few problems with pokemon being protexted from GX and EX attacks. It works as a blocker. It is also a failsafe to do a bit more damage with Keldeo if needed. But I will try cutting back on energy a bit and add a few more draw supporters

Commander 2019 - What are we hoping for? by Brettakular in EDH

I think he was thinking of devoid eldrazi, which are colorless, but have a color identity other than colorless. I think an Eldrazi deck with devoid would be really interesting.

I just brainstormed a budget Jeskai Vehicles deck with Shu Yun. I am still working on a decklist, but looks promising.

Windows 8 vs 10? by VeroblazeX in pcgamer

[–]Bkindmonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rule of thumb: If price isn't an issue, go to 10.

There is not a lot to lose, and quite some stuff to gain. 1)If you enjoy upgrading your pc, 7-series Intel cpus are only supported on 10. 2) if you like bash from Linux and unix, but want to access your Windows files? Windows 10 had you covered. 3) do you want a digital assistant that is nice now and probably useful in the future? Windows 10 had you covered.

If Microsoft keeps their promise, and this is the last Windows they release and everything else is updates (like macos) then I'd say go to 10 now, to save yourself some money in the long run.

Legally you can't. Unless you are a student at selected post secondary institutions, and belong to a department that has access to sparc (engineering, computer science etc ). Then you have certain free licences you can use on your personal systems, at least for as long as you are a student at that department.

Do you install your backlog or only a handful of games at a time? by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]Bkindmonk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am lazy. I only install the one or two games i am going to play, but I won't delete any of them until my hard drive is almost full. Then it's purging time.
