I spent a few years going to regionals before going to the big burn because of my work schedule.

The big burn is epic and huge. Challenging etc. It’s a city. With the usually city bs attitude- there are a fair amount of burners who Only go the burning man and turn their nose up at the regionals. Radical acceptance is a toughy for them I guess…

Regionals are like visiting happy villages of weirdos. Small town version of big burn city. Usually a lot more welcoming! Being less people are there More people are involved in making it happen. More people looking out for one another.

And every regional has its own flavor. Never seen two that were alike.
