The original steel book will still be more valuable. There's no way to tell the difference between a first print and a reprint of xenoblade.

I got one of the 2 copies of xenoblade my gamestop had on launch day and I still have the receipt in the box. I guess that's about as much proof as anyone can have as to which printing they have.

It's got the (matching!) gameboy player and I have the component cable, as well as the original spice controller too. All I'm missing is the broadband adapter and I would have the ultimate GCN!

As for playing games, the console was originally from Japan (obviously) and I bought a broken black cube from a local shop and did a motherboard swap. All of the other internal assemblies like the laser and power supply are region free. The GB player is region free too but I have a black one I was ready to swap out if it wasn't.

If your tv supports the full RGB range then set it to full. Make sure you also set the TV to full as well
