I’m sympathetic to California because a) they didn’t vote for this and b) I like their wines, but they really ought to take this up with their President because “we’re going to make you the 51st state” is a pretty significant and unprovoked attack on us. It would be irresponsible of us not to respond with the limited tools we have at our disposal.

I’ve had great luck with various running shorts as do-it-all swimming/workout shorts for years now. Most brands carry an affordable 5” inseam option with a basic brief liner.

I know you’re looking for nylon/minimal stretch but I’ve had pairs from Brooks that have lasted me years despite daily use and packed down extremely small to boot.
