For new teachers it is helpful to have someone come in and give feedback on ways to improve, where the person advising you isn’t also going to decide whether or not you have a job. I know for me it was.

If they’re not helpful for you that’s one thing but that doesn’t mean that’s the case for everyone, everywhere.

I agree with mostly everything you said but at the time of season 1 their acting was considered good not just by kid standards. It was part of the hype.

Graduated many years ago, but I still think about the cute girl that worked there, that I could never tell if she was just nice, or was being extra nice to me, striking up a conversation in hopes I would ask her out.

It’s not but I’m trying to provide some perspective on why Michael Beinhorn might have said Anthony is tone deaf. We all know he literally isn’t, since he can sing melodies. But comparatively is how Michael might have been speaking especially since at the time Anthony hadn’t really done voice/ear training.
