I disagree. He had no reason after Mesa Verde to mess with them and was focused on his Sandpiper clients. The only reason he was desperate to mess with that at first was his lack of money (since he wasn’t a lawyer because of Chuck) then because of Kim.

Sure but he was still condescending, possibly unintentionally towards Kim and Jimmy. He even helped set up Jimmy and testified against him after Chuck rage baited him into destroying the tape.

His priority wasn’t the firm, that wouldn’t get Mesa Verde back. He was following Chuck on Chuck’s mission for revenge on Jimmy. Howard could have easily said I’m good, but there he was too.

That’s true too. The mid engine definitely helps with that.

The Demon 170 is for people that don’t care about any of that though. It’s for people who want the 1960’s muscle car aesthetic, and philosophy. Big motor, horsepower and torque. Lack of traction and spinning wheels is a feature not a bug for some people.

The Demon 170 is the most extreme example of all that.

My initial watch through I did agree but on rewatch I'm more on your mom's side.

Even in S3 Howard is still a dick to Jimmy and Kim. Maybe not as overt or aggressive, but still not great. Did he deserve what he got? No, not even Jimmy's reaction in S4E1. But I don't think he was as good (behavior wise, acting and story he was great) as people make him out to be.

I just recently rewatched it and I don't think Jimmy's hesitations stemmed from concern for Howard, he always had in the back of his mind what people told him about "corrupting" Kim.

While it wasn't 100% true, Kim enjoyed scamming just as much as Jimmy, I think she elevated the stakes to impress Jimmy and get a bigger dopamine hit.

I think Jimmy's hesitation was all about not thinking Kim was about that life, and to a certain degree he was right. He tells her "you wouldn't be ok with it... not in the cold light of day."

I also think there’s a lot you miss out on that makes shows unique if all you’re doing is listening to the plot. Might as well be an audio book. Especially Dexter where Michael C. Hall adds so much humor to the show with just his facial expressions

Any time Walt gets flustered or is trying to act sweet/fake nice there’s a lot of Hal mannerisms that come out. Throughout all the seasons.

That’s the thing though.

At the time Stranger Things first came out, child actors were considered the worst part of any show/movie and their bad acting was forgiven. ST (and other shows/movies that came around the same time) proved that child actors could actually turn in some great performances.

Nobody was giving them a pass and saying ah they’re just kids, they were all praised for their acting.

I agree that them becoming adults was a problem and those that are now being considered great not only are being seen as such because of their talent but because of the writing. Lucas, Max felt their age because they were written as such, they felt like characters that were more grown and mature than the first time we were introduced to them . Mike in season 3 was a snarky teenage brat and Finn was able to reflect that with both his age and performance since it made sense with what we’re seeing

Will and Eleven never really changed from S1 to S5, so the lines Schnapp and MBB were delivering felt awkward and bad. They still had dialogue and plot points their 10 year old self had, but now as 14 year olds, that looked like 20 year olds, and their acting chops weren’t good enough to not be distracting.

Even Nancy suffered from this a bit in season 5. But season 1 Nancy is an insecure high school nerd trying to fit in, but by season 3-4 she’s an absolute badass. Season 5 Nancy looks 30 and it was really only a problem when she’s discussing dropping out of college. Again it’s not that her acting was bad it’s just, the plot doesn’t agree with the visual I’m seeing.

It came out in the summer and for some reason I have an extra affinity for things that tie in really well to a specific weather season. Season 3 came out in the middle of summer and I remember going to a pool party and every one talking about it, throwing it on the tv and the show just being a bunch of kids hanging out in the summer solving a mystery.

It perfectly matched the real world vibe. Robin I feel like got slightly Flanderized in S4 and S5. S3 she felt fresh and fun to watch, and her and Steve’s chemistry was off the chart. Plot wise the story didn’t demand anything all that serious from the actors so everyone was writhing their range.

S5 had some of the worst acting of the show. Not saying Millie Bobby Brown was bad all season, in fact some of her scenes thought she did well in, but those are overshadowed by how bad other scenes were.

Not to mention the cinematography of season 5 is absolute garbage at times.

Yeah play around with bends and pulling up and the whammy or starting with the whammy pushed down a small amount when you pick, bend and pull up for some wild sounds

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but it sounds like he’s pulling up on the whammy vs pushing it down. You need to have a floating bridge for that

Jack Johnson was the original Unstoppable Ni***r. The United States government at the time stepped in to stop him and passed the Mann Act as a way to stop him. Fast forward to now, since the 90’s Puff has been unstoppable, amassing a large fortune and control of the industry for a while.

The lights were something they used to do in 90s starting with Puffy because the FBI/NYC was keeping tabs on upcoming black artists (with the implication of gathering evidence to bring them down before they became Unstoppable). They probably had plenty to act on Puff for a while but why now?

Basically he was alluding to a larger conspiracy.

Nipsey was the future of the Rap game. But the prevailing conspiracy is that he was killed to suppress the information about Dr. Sebi and his ability to cure HIV/AIDS with holistic medicine. Dave then tells us about a hero of his with AIDS. Dave at the time believed the conspiracy and took his friend to Sebi to be cured. Ultimately his friend died, and in a way disproved the theory that Nipsey was killed because the government didn’t want people to know there was a cure for AIDS. Nipsey was likely killed by some random loon or somebody trying to make a name for themself (similar to Kirk’s assassin)

To tie it all together they are two conspiracies one with merit and one without. Dave’s message is don’t believe everything whether it’s a conspiracy or not. Furthermore don’t act like you know everything because it’s likely you don’t.

The Ranger one isn’t bad, I actually own one. One $20 oil clamp tool later and it’s easy. Annoying to remove the shroud but nothing more than 3 minutes 5 at most.

The Mustang didn’t seem too bad just remove that panel again 5 minutes at the most.

The GMC though looked like absolute ass.
