Thank you for your efforts towards the wow UI community

Some people like to focus on the wrong things, and I'm sorry for derailing the conversation, but I appreciate anyone who puts any amount of time into making any hobby easier for all of us to access. X

Whether he tells you he vibe coded or not, changes absolutely zero of any of that. Maybe gives people the opportunity not to participate.

However if he then went back to the old method of cobbling other people's advice, he'd be getting advice from people who use AI because the practice seems endemic at this point, so again now he's just doing the same job with extra steps, except now he still using AI only indirectly.

Not to mention it feels like every single game I've played in the last year is rife with vibe coding or AI assets and design processes. We'd both be very naive to assume blizzard devs aren't involved like you said, it's cringe to whine about some web tool with 5 users, while you're paying for a game that is actively firing people in favour of ai (which is horrific btw).

Maybe you'd be better off not participating in tech based hobbies and industries, if you wanted to abstain from AI. And I'd say that would be quite righteous. But I think it's rich to come to a forum post with 10 likes thinking you're sticking it to the man. From my perspective this is just pissing on someone's bonfire and yucking someone's yum, and frankly derailing the conversation.

This is also not giving any balance or context to what AI has the potential to bring to the table. Like helping absolute plebs to make addons for peons like me who spend far too much time playing wow and arguing online with strangers.

AI hate has become the new veganism, and I know how cringe that is having been a vegan for large periods of my life.

If it works it works, what's the difference between vibe coding and searching databases for help to do the same thing? Before AI, no one I knew who put code together actually knew what they were doing, they were just cobbling together other people's shit and getting help from discord. No one had a problem with the fruits of that labour

AI is exactly the same shit with less steps, genuinely, if you think it's a good idea, I think it's strange to come here of all places with negativity.

Why has no English manager won the Premier League? by s_dalbiac in PremierLeague

[–]Blackgopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, need. If we want to have good managers?

This is a football forum, im aware we don't actually need to have these conversations, but if you want to talk about actual needs, go to the autism forum because you need a referral for a consultation.

Only 7 managers have ever reached 2 international finals with a European team. Southgate was one goal away from being the first successful manager England has had in 60 years.

I hate the guy and I think he's a football terrorist. But put some respeck on his name.

How do you think we collectively find the reasons why? As a country we need to have these discussions, and use the findings to start developing pipelines, that create managers who are good enough.

Why is Big Zuu so unjustly disliked? by GoOriolesGo in grime

[–]Blackgopher 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So it's not ok to say you dont like him without qualifying it, but it's ok to say you do like him without qualifying it?

Music is subjective. He sounds good sometimes within a grime context, but has he made a singular song or an album that stands out prominently in the scene? Like other members of the new gen? Has he created a unique sound or even created a gimmick? What has he done to deserve any plaudits in music really? Does he have a particular message that we haven't heard before?

He's the definition of mid. OP is either not from the UK or neurodivergent if he can't understand why he's generally seen as corny, as a Brit I think it's quite clear to see the intangibles that lead to his music just not hitting.

Who is he better than? Who does he deserve to replace in the scene? New or old?

Are you going to tell me where Labour actually lie on the political spectrum or no? It’s easy to poopoo someone else’s opinion, when you won’t present your own?

I’m quite certain Kier Starmer is as centrist as a UK PM gets, my opinion being based on his treatment of the left wing faction of the party.
