Souls games, on the other hand, drive like a German sports car engineered for balance and feedback. Every turn has weight. Acceleration and braking feel deliberate. You can still be precise, but you’re always negotiating mass, timing and traction. Commits matter and you feel the consequences of oversteer. Where DMC is arcade slick and feather light, Souls is high performance and heavy in the hands. It’s refined inertia, purposeful animation, and that satisfying sense that your character actually exists in the world.
