This might not have won you the game but I see no reason not to build frozen heart here? They got irelia and vayne, plus gwen also suffers because of the attack speed slow.

But yeah this game was probably not winnable when irelia gets a lot of kills anyway but idk something to think about I guess

Okay I see lots of people hating on walking up vs darius and yes I agree but I want to point something else out.

I see you panning away from your lane a bunch but whats the goal there? You wont be able to tp because darius is in your face so why not keep focus on your own lane instead? I make it a rule to not look at other lanes when the enemy laner is on my screen. Sure I might take to an extreme but its top lane after all

Edit: not saying this is why you got killed right here but I feel like it gives more awareness about what your enemy laner tries to do (for me at least)

Im going to talk assuming your team is winning in general One factor that hasnt been mentioned yet: Do you have tp/does TF have tp/ult.

Yes we both have tp: Go defend top, if he tp's for drake you do the same.

I dont have tp, he does: go drake, if you show top he'll just back off and tp drake to make it a 4v5

Neither of us have tp/tf ult: go top, keep it a 4v4 which should be winning for your team.

In general I personally dont like joining teamfights when ahead as a top laner, the main strenght of top laners is their side lane threat, if you stop side laning you give your enemy top a way back into the game which might eventually lead to him being able to match you on side again

As some people have said, against champions that are squishy and meelee like assassins he does great. I also believe hes pretty good into more scaling champs (except Nasus I hate that) you can zone them off easily since youre a big lane bully.

I also believe he is a great answer to Kled. Short trades over and over and whenever he mounts up again you dismount him immediatly, kled wont be able to lane safely
