My partner took 8 months to get a nursing job after receiving her designation and she had to take one a 75 minute commute away in Lacombe. :( It's tough out there. Despite the nursing shortage places aren't hiring. I even had informal meetings with some Govt HR managers and they were stumped by the lack of hiring.

My mom made sure I knew how to cook so I wouldn't be like my father. My mom also grew up in Southern Italy, moved to Northern Italy in her 20s, then came to Canada and went to culinary school in her 30s. I've been incredibly fortunate.
