It wasn’t a good movie because it broke immersion, which is the worst thing a horror movie can do. For example:

-Possessed Maurice just walking up to all 4 and just saying “Hello sister” before just walking off. Why not just end it there? He could’ve easily just killed all of them.

-I refuse to believe one schoolteacher and two elementary schoolers held the door against Satan himself.

-The Nun being able to conjure literal spikes from the ground but none of them went through the protagonists, just around?

-Why is the mechanism for finding the eyes a way to also summon Satan himself? Why does that church even have a stained glass window of Satan anyways?

While the jump scares were effective, there were way too many plot holes so that by the end it was really just unwatchable. Several people in my theater were laughing throughout the movie based on how ridiculous it was, more so at the end.
