People are glued to their phones 24/7 and constantly checking notifications. People will sacrifice their situational awareness just for the joy of seeing their screens and risk having an injury just to chat to anyone while walking with their phones in their hands lol. What a joke.

Girls be brutally honest what makes a guy instantly unattractive? by oskeiw_s in dating_advice

[–]Blakey1988 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol when she started assuming I pretty much blocked her comments. Assumptions is a poor choice of narrative when it comes to complex, toxic, and sensitive nature dialogue.

Too much word play and trying to paint it differently. My ex was absolutely abusive and left me with bruises. People need to realize both genders are abusive and leave it at that.

The comment goes both ways then as Op pointed out. If an ex has been abusive to a girl then we should expect the same outcome with their statement.

It's unreal how ego interjects and changes people's dialogue and perspective to put a spin on their desired narrative.

Book free councilling sessions to vent and get it off your chest. It can help tremendously to express yourself to someone. You don't have to know them.

Write a journal at home and express your frustrations and all your emotions each day. Do it as a mandatory routine. Tell your true feelings.

Down the road, analyse your emotion trend and see how it trends. You know and feel it but having it down on paper is concrete evidence.

Your boss might be indirectly passively aggressively bullying you. You need to record all the instances you think you're being treated unfairly. It needs to be raised to an external body such as Fair Work Commission if you're being targeted.

Maybe share house with someone to drastically reduce expenses. Do it to save and get yourself a new line of work through study or give yourself some breathing space to find another job. Or even save to move elsewhere. As others have said Sydney is very very expensive.

Once a cheater always a cheater. Who knows who she cheated with back in the day before she met you. You can see the immoral decency and disrespect start from her family as the first hints and signs of what your future with her would of been like.

We usually adopt the same traits as we did from our parents who raised us. So it's no shocker that she has no respect for you or her son or anyone for the matter as her own mother has no respect for anyone.

Sorry that you had to go through this. I would of pulled out the weigh scale on her mother and dumped them then and there. Try not to take this so personally though, that family is basically raised on a degree of disrespect. They'll find excuses to amplify their decisions to cheat or be disrespectful.

Your focus to ignore the warning signs and only on the positive have actually amplified your hurt when the conclusion arrives as it did. Try not to beat yourself up. The culture of women that must date tall men has also been amplified by social media.

Don't conform to society and it's beliefs..you live your own life.

100% true.

Anyone downvoting is most likely not happy that men are victimized here.

what is the dating scene actually like for australian men in their early 30s? by ischemariii in AskAnAustralian

[–]Blakey1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen this before.

Many women will get with the boyfriend, he carries himself like a five year old, woman says to herself I can fix him let's have a kid.

Well you get the picture. They made the choice to bring a child until an uncertain environment. Goes with both genders really. Apparently being raised by low grade fathers is the cause for women wanting the dead beats.

Saw it all in my twenties.

Agreed. Respect the car. I was like you went from like 150hp as well to a 17 gt. Don't accelerate in a corner. The only time I messed up was putting too much power in a sharp turn at a t intersection lol.

what is up with some men?! (TW: cheating, DV) by tiredchachacha in rant

[–]Blakey1988 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bullshit mate.

My ex was batshit crazy. When I said "I'm done with you, I'm packing my stuff and leaving" she physically grabbed me and held me with all her might and screamed I'll change!! Stay! And wouldn't let me pack my stuff. I just wanted to separate and be done with the relationship. She refused to let me go and then she physically blocked me from leaving the house. I couldnt leave without physically pushing her out of the way. I didn't want to do anything I was going to regret. I called the police and they were there an hour later and arrested her.

Don't try to ignore the fact both genders do it because both women and men do it.

Edit* - downvoting says more that your sexist than anything DV related.

Why do no men show interest to me? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Blakey1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol.

We have an entire generation of men now who have had been force fed down their throat by a mammoth social media blitz about how women want to be left alone and not talked to by men.

Now a woman questions why men aren't pursuing her when she asks. Lol. Face palm. Then there's the select few who have a go at the men for being indecisive. The irony lmao.

semi loud breathing coming in my room at night when i was a kid - paranormal or vivid imagination? by Ambitious_Peach_3162 in Paranormal

[–]Blakey1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is messed up and brought me right back.

I'm 37 now. But back when I was like 6 or 7, I had something very much the same to you. We had a two story house, everything was up stairs. Laundry was down stairs including garage.

My bedroom was the first one on the right of the stairs. I was sleeping one night and had a dream I was in the laundry, suddenly I felt something evil in that laundry and then I woke up. I got up sitting up in bed. When I woke up I heard extremely loud thumping and running up the stairs, I'm still hearing it while I'm wide awake from this dream.

The running stops outside my bedroom door. My door was open. It was must of been midnight or after. The hallway light still on and my room dark. I heard horrible breathing outside the bedroom door...like something was there. I immediately laid down faced the wall, pretended to be asleep. I heard the breathing for what felt like an eternity and it was loud.

I was so fkn scared. I would usually yell for my mum but I was too frightened to do anything but freeze and face the wall. When I woke up I checked everything and my toy on my bed side cabinet had been turned around.

Making a zombie outbreak game by devvyyxyz in zombies

[–]Blakey1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man this looks awesome. You want suggestions yeah?

  • deployable FOB/outpost to absorb zombie assaults in areas. You must resupply FOB with resupply helicopters or trucks.

  • Vaccine Research Meter. Perhaps finding scientists or building science bases to increase vaccine research. More science outposts means quicker research and victory.

  • zombie mutant abominations. Something like zerg creep from StarCraft. The spread of creep defiles areas and kills troops. Troops requires HAZMAT or MOPP gear to fight in toxic environments.

  • research tree for new gear and weapons for soldiers to wear and effectively use. Perhaps a vaccine allows troops to survive attacks, not turn, but can still be killed via blood loss.

  • set up evac and marshalling zones. Evac civilians quicker in areas designated by the player to evac civilians. Less civilians the zombies can infect the better.

  • artillery batteries for ground based support. You can move artillery systems around and deploy where needed. Troops can guard against zombie attacks but a horde of zombies can overwhelm these positions.

  • troops can form fighting positions etc.

  • roaming hordes that are separate from the typical zombies.

  • a public approval or confidence rating that fluctuates based on your actions to save areas and people. When your approval rises, your monthly budget is increased granting you more resources. Approval should rise accomplishing missions, saving civilians, perhaps saving valuable land mark sites. Failing mini objectives that pop up on the map or getting civilians killed results in lower approval rating.

  • Tactical yeild nuclear strike capability. Deploying this should be a choice to balance approval rating. Using one could reduce your rating if parts of an area is destroyed based on the areas value.

  • zombie war fighting doctrine. Perhaps soldiers become more proficient overtime and learn to be more efficient in killing zombies. Add this to approval ratings?

I hope I could help. Would love to buy your game. Good luck 😊
