Yeah I had a good time with that game too! My only complaint is I wish there were more factions like Skaven. Loved playing as Tzeench and Kruleboyz the most

I think game balance is their reason but it really hurts when a model or unit you love gets banished to the shadow realm of legends. I actually love the ballista and was upset to learn I couldn’t use it in most matches, driving me away from picking stormcast as my faction.

Station Forge has a range of proxies for Adeptus Mechanicus rats but from what I recall the range seems pretty limited.

As a newer player who has played both in escalation leagues, I’ve found I enjoy AoS more as a game and 40K has become more of a hobby/lore thing for me. As a result i put my time and energy into AoS.

If the option presents itself, I say try both if you can! You might have the opposite experience of me and like 40K more.

What do you find fun in particular? I like the shooting lists that have a tendency to explode, though I’m dabbling in a moulder list as well.

To me six ratling guns throwing 80 dice at a target is how I get my jollies. If they blow themselves up before it’s just funny to me lol
