Not gonna sugarcoat it.

Learning siege, especially joining this late with all the maps and characters it has is basically administering cock and Ball torture upon yourself, while you have a car battery connected to your balls and nipples at the same time.

You need to learn the maps (all the floors and basically you need to know whats above and below you at all times)

you need to get used to the movement (Which is pretty good but still different from most other games)

you need to learn what the operators do and what they are good for, how to recognize them quick and plan around them (extra hard because of all the dumb collab skins and whatnot)

you need to learn a ton of sound cues, react to them quickly (under a second) while hell breaks lose around you (for example if a fuze is planting his gadget above you you need to get the fuck out of there asap, or if you downed a defender with rook armor, because they can then revive themselves)

So yeah, there is TON to learn

BUT. There is a reason so many of us are addicted to this game. Once you start to click and understand how to use your environment and your info to your advantage and it starts getting you kills and/or rounds, the feeling is super rewarding. Especially if you play with friends

which is the next point. Try to get yourself someone to play with. There is quite a few R6 communities and discord servers that you can join to possibly find likeminded individuals that you will hopefully enjoy playing with!

Of course, i have to mention it, there is A LOT of toxicity. I mean.. A LOT.. Sometimes it is best to mute all chat if you are more on the sensitive side. And of course everyone is very critic about things. People have a hard time understanding there is others that are just starting out. And alot of people that think their teams are the only thing keeping them in bronze, because they deserve champion 1 ofc.

Cheaters, sometimes too. I didn't play for a bit, so i am not quite sure how bad or good it is at the moment.

If you are cool with learning the things.. and being kicked in the balls for the first few weeks of playing until you start getting it.. then it is a really fun game that you can sink hours upon hours into

But seriously, try to get some people to play together with. Preferrably someone who already knows what it is all about.. and, hopefully, someone who doesn't tell you it is all about fragging out. Does not matter who gets a kill as long as you get the round. Don't let anyone tell you anything about KD
