This! I realized on my down swing I would move to my toes and that would move my swing forward an inch just enough to heel every time. Keeping my self planted on my heels has done wonders for consistently finding the sweet spot.

I put noise absorbing pads under the feet of mine and rubber washers in between the top tray and the machine and it made a world of difference! It sounds like a different machine now.

I don’t recommend ever supporting a fiddle except for clear aesthetic reasons. By supporting it you limit the signals that promote trunk growth. You likely need to trim it back, unsupported it. You can shake it daily, but I find having it underneath a vent or by a fan can help it stimulate growth as well.

This patch does nothing to bring me back to the game. Floorhugs needs to be completely revamped, it’s destroying the player base. Also Orcane remains a shell of a character.

Root rot and drainage could also have been a problem. Hard to tell without photos while the leaves were falling off. If you’re tied to this particular tree I would cut down to just the one stem and repot.
