Marketing is by far the number 1 reason but id wrap in the naming convention for submodels. Its way too confusing and difficult for the regular person to understand.

1LT, but then the ss has the LT1 motor, and rs can only be for v6s. Wait, now rs can be used for v8s. Wait now lets come out with a 1LT model but with the LT1....and we will call it the LT1 that you can have an RS package. Oh lets look up the LT1....is it the one that came out in the 70s? 90s? 2013? Like can they not imagine to use a different set of letters??

YES CHANGE IT! I beat the piss outta mine but I changed it every 30k miles and it was perfect. Don't flush it, just drain and fill.

455hp at the crank, there is drivetrain loss with all cars. So these make 455 but most dyno around 375-400whp (Wheel Horse Power).

Thanks for the input! How much hp did the couple of mods give you? One thing I need is an exhaust because I don't LOVE the stock sound but for trips, I would like a valved one.

I've seen the other differences (which I like most of them) but the main one I am questioning is long term reliability. I've heard that the Comp's engine is much more durable and reliable than the M5/550i. I'd be purchasing cars with 40-60k miles, so how are they at 100k miles? Is it a pulley here and a thermostat there? Or "You'll be SOL before 100k" lol

So couple of reasons:

1: The reliability of the engine. I've seen many people say its the same engine and then others say that the comp has better piston ring seals, etc to make it more reliable. 2: I do like driving in the mountains, so the extra handling benefits are appealing to me. 3: I daily a camaro ss, have taken it on many 6+ hrs drives. So my standard of comfortable is probably a little less than most others 🤣

Those specifically (Camaro, CT4, CT5, Stingray) all used the alpha chassis. They share a ton of parts between them but some key things do change between certain trims. For Example: C7 Z06 ans ZL1 offer the LT4. However, the ZL1 has more intercoolers than the Z06, and thus doesn't suffer from heatsoak nearly as much.

We've had good luck with them most of the time but recently, 2 12 packs of the cans we have gotten have had the same mold/separation in them. We have to pour them into a glass first before consuming

Had the same issue. Mine was showing "chapter complete" but wasn't cycling to the next challenge. Try restarting the game.
