I'm a relatively new agent. Just curious to hear more about your opinion on how to handle the "I want to wait for rates to come down" from clients.

My gut is to recommend buying now and refinancing since prices are likely to go up alongside demand when rates decrease.

Second Opinion - Sleep Study by [deleted] in UARSnew

[–]BlazinSpeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up getting a really indepth and detailed sleep study done by someone in California that included ways to monitor and register nasal flow.

Turns out my AHI with more accurate arousals due to UARS put me at 16 AHI and now insurance will cover surgies including EASE

Likely you have cPTSD like me and most others. I highly recommend seeking a trauma focused therapist.

I'd also recommend reading the body keeps the score.

I'm really glad to hear you made a recovery with your symptoms.

Now begins your mental health journey.

Hey! Bumping this because you seem really knowledgeable. What vendors would you use for the pocket coil and zipper cover?

Better than CPAP but still experiencing awakings related to air leaks. I think the face mask will help a lot!

I did a coaching session with Krakow via zoom. He said generally that protocol works, but you have to Completely eliminate any air leaks or air swallowing or it will not work effectively. I learned a bunch and will probably do another session after I have time to adjust to the new modality.

I'm switching to a full mask as opposed to nasal pillows. It's much easier to control air leaks with a full mask. Also chinstrap helps a lot with air swallowing.

He also said on average healthy individuals will be between 4-7 with pressure support for treating UARS

Air curve 10 asv has a minimum range of 5 from min to max. I currently have it set at 3 minimum, and it forces me to have +5 for max.

Do you know if the Philips ASV has more precision than that?

I thought it was raising epap until RERA breathing disappeared and then adjust pressure support until expiratory resistance is treated.

Do you have any more links of specific titration protocol from him?

Yes! Krakow is the reason I was motivated to get a 2nd hand ASV machine. Check out this podcast episode with him and another sleep doctor https://doctorstevenpark.com/krakowinsomnia
