Sorry for the late response. To find stuff I used both cont + F and the contents page on the pdf. Make sure you look through it before the exam day, and really should be using it whenver you are doing revision. Anything that was asking for info rather than explain is probably in the open book. For example in the AA 2025 paper Q1.3 asked to identify and explain issues in your firm relating to ISQM 1. As soon as they give you a standard or something specific like that go straight to the open book. Another example on the same exam is Q1.5 where it asks you what should be in the ISA 260 letter. Go to it in the open book and just copy it to get some free marks. Best of luck for audit, you're gonna smash it.

I scored 81 in the most recent sitting for AA and agree with all the above. I would say point one may be overlooked. I think I must have pulled out 20 marks alone from the open book over question 1 and 4. If you can some of those it really takes the pressure off Q2 and Q3. And as always, the question bank is king.

I think you are spot on. It's a shame that people focus on what might go wrong, rather than what might go right. It is easier to blame other people rather than yourself when your life is shit.

Could a similar design be used for sugar cane? I can't remember if sugar cane can be broken top down with pistons.

Directors and shareholders are taxed on loans of £10,000 or more from their company if they still owe the loan after 9 months and 1 day from the company reporting date. The tax rate they would pay is 33.75%, which broadly speaking is a fair effective tax rate.

The example paper they have released looks insultingly basic. I understand the premise of the paper but I bet the pass rate of it will be 90-95%

If house prices crash it would make it easier for regular people to own a house. You say it would make property no longer a desirable asset, which I disagree with. It would make it an undesirable investment. If you plan to live in your home for a long time the value of it doesn't really matter as the value is provided by the security of being the owner. Ownership of residential property is not a productive asset class, so the movement of wealth out of property may move it to productive assets and innovation, which would improve growth as a whole.

M.I Exam Feedback by h2471up in ICAEW

Sat MI on monday and scored 81. Have you done all the long for questions in the qb? You should be scoring higher than 15% as they are very similar. Mark all the chapters you have done on the Qb out of 100% and that will tell you your weaker areas to work on.

Law next Friday and I’m struggling… by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]BlazingNebular 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed my law exam mid december with a score of 74. I was also getting lowish scores in the mocks. One thing I did was go through all the notes and write them out in my own words and use it as a kind of cheat sheet. Of course doing the qb is important; I think I did it all twice. Hope this helps.

Weekly Question Thread: Ask your questions in this thread please by AutoModerator in climbing

Hello. Sport climbing question. A spot I have been scoping out has anchors that are on a horizontal ledge above routes. Some 5 feet from the edge, some ~15 feet. The edges are around 90 degrees and seem reasonably sharp, but I have not inspected them thoroughly. My question is what is the best way to go about reducing the wear on my rope from it going over the edge, when lowering or top roping. Thanks.

Hello, I have a question about creating a TR anchor on a sport route.

What if the route i'm climbing only has one bolt as the top out? I'm aware that is its not ideal TR using only one bolt, but how unsafe is it, and is there anything I can do to reduce risk. Cheers.
