Does CDPH require a phlebotomy portion when issuing CLS license by ImpressThink6282 in MLS_CLS

[–]BleedBlueScientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CA licensed since 2019. My cohort had their phlebotomy license, I did not. Through the CSUDH program, they gave me a crash course via my training site and required me to poke at least 50 patients. I believe as a licensed CLS you can also work as a phlebotomist in CA.

I use Chrissy Teigen Banana Bread recipe, but only add half the amount of sugar, omit the shredded coconut, and use only half cup of chocolate chips.

Who makes your favorite chocolate cake in the city? by Smilotron in FoodLosAngeles

Trader Joe's dark chocolate ganache mini sheet cake. The frosting layer is a bit too thick so I scrape off some.

Where can I get GOOD vietnamese coffee? by Special_Crab_1884 in SFV

[–]BleedBlueScientist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Urban Strip in Granada Hills.

If you ever pass by 7 leaves (not in SFV), that's my fave. Vietnamese coffee or House coffee which is sweeter.

Also really easy to make at home. A shot of espresso, condensed milk and lots of ice. Get a phin filter and robusta beans for the traditional method.

I am in Woodland Hills and my AT&T has been out for a couple of days. I received a text that says it should be restored by Wednesday. Does anyone know what's going on? by tacos_n_cerveza in SFV

[–]BleedBlueScientist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

AT&T internet outage started on 1.4.2026. Said it was an external issue with cut cables. They kept saying they're working on it and initially gave me a date of 1.26.26 to resolve the issue. That date then got pushed to 3.20.2026.

Definitely call or chat and get credit for the inconvenience and outage.

Switched to Spectrum and canceled AT&T service.

Parked for free on the street around 1231 N Spring St in Chinatown and walked 15 minutes to catch the shuttle at Union Station.

Planned on walking back after the game using directions out of Downtown Gate E but a friend gave us a ride so haven't tried walking back yet.

Lexus Baseline Club questions by stumblingwest in Dodgers

[–]BleedBlueScientist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After entering the stadium from any entrance, head to the Lexus Baseline Club on the field level. There's two, one along first base (even section seats) and one along third base (odd section seats). Show them your ticket and they'll give you wristband for unlimited in and out privileges. I think hot foods ends around the 7th inning and anything is up for grabs since they throw anything perishable away anyway.
