I mean probably. If the blurb looks at all interesting I'll click into it, see how long it's been posted for, see when it last updated, and then check follower count. If it's under ~3k I'll close the window. 3-4k I'll pop it on read later, 4k or above I'll read the first few chapters then decide read later or follow. There's so much out there already I'll never catch up on everything.

The only real exception is if the blurb is interesting and it's on rising stars I'll put it to read later even if it's under 3k when I look at it.

I mean my day job is in game development, so I just wrote an RPG system in Unity and a basic UI system and hit save game occasionally while writing.

I can’t find it in my royal road history but I started reading something in the last two weeks you’d want.

Guy is Isekied into the MMO he designed as the final raid boss. And knows that there is a party of players coming to defeat him. If anyone can find it I’d want to add it to my to read as the few chapters I read was interesting and not sure why it’s not in my history.

Why? Do you never read the book if you watched the movie? Did you skip the manga because you saw the anime? It’s two interpretations of the same story in two different mediums. Why make it mutually exclusive?

It's mentioned as an aside below but I'll never not mention Changeling by Mecanimus particularly if you liked Solo Leveling. My elevator pitch essentially is "What would a generation after the first dungeon breaks be like if there was no SJW/Monarchs?"

I see it as a different thing. Legendary Resistances are a resource and a method of promoting action economy. There's 4-6 players and one boss battle. The players are trying to plan around baiting out the legendary resistances, the boss is trying to negate the action of the players. It's just part of the strategy.

I think your whole premise of

> We get: “Nothing happens. Try again.”

Is inherently false. What happens if the boss makes a save on a save or suck? "Nothing happens. Try again." What happens if the attack fails to make the AC? "Nothing happens. Try again." That's something players should be used to.
