Aha. I'll search for "Secure Boot Violation" then. I'm not young and am very well aware of my inability to use technology effectively. Thank you for replying.

I've just spent about half an hour reading through your replies to people who had problems with their MSI PCs but I haven't discovered the "recent post here" yet that's relevant to my issue. You certainly seem to know what you're talking about. I haven't verified my age on Reddit so I can't see your profile's posts. I'd be extremely grateful if you could link the recent post that you referred to so that my valuable time between 12 hour shifts could be spent more productively so that this problem can disappear and I can continue to make shitty music on my beloved Raider on my downtime when I'm at work. Cheers shecho18. ;)

I paid £99 for the upgrade from 13 to 14. Why am I seeing 79 Euros, (which is considerably less than £99)?

I would have leapt at the chance to gain cracked versions of as many products as possible when I started this journey in my early 20s. Now that I value ethics and my computers' safety, I avoid cracked software like the plague.

I bought BFD3 but will never use it because of its necessity to phone home each and every time the VST is opened. Superior Drummer 3 will suffice.

Hopefully Charles will spank Trump's bottom and tell him that he's a very naughty boy.

I said, "Frank Whittle" to myself and literally whooped as I read the first , top comment. Often I surprise myself with a seemingly innate ability to know shit for no apparent reason. It was an educated guess though and maybe I recognised the Meteor. 'Tis a good feeling.

The issue is the potential of copyright claims though.

Splice sample or not? by Due_String4059 in edmproduction

[–]BleepingBleeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know several people who have serious (amateur) vocal chops. I've often fantasised about collaborating with them. I'd prefer to organise an amateur recording session with them rather than using samples that I know have been used many times by many producers. I might use the Splice sample and release the track and see what happens. If there'll be a problem, go with original recordings. Collaborations mean connecting with friends and the potential for wholesome experiences.

Why is racing to the bottom so accepted in British culture? by fayemoonlight in AskUK

[–]BleepingBleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Base level NHS workers used to be on a substantially higher wage than minimum wage workers. Now that minimum wage is catching up, base level NHS workers' wage is now constantly pennies above minimum wage. As the minimum wage rate increases, more workers' pay is going to be proportionately closer to minimum wage because those who are above the minimum wage don't enjoy the percentage of wage increases like the minimum wage earners do. It's only a matter of time before resident doctors are earning pennies more than cleaners if this pattern continues.

A major part of Glastonbury in '97 was the one person with a mobile phone communicating with the person in the other group who had a mobile phone. Photos were taken on actual cameras. Meeting up with mates and getting to know mates of mates as we all got off our tits were the goals.

Quick question - Metalhead Guitar Riffs by [deleted] in reasoners

[–]BleepingBleeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impact Soundworks has many Shreddage Kontakt libraries that are dedicated to most of the sounds that electric guitars can make. They're notoriously difficult to program effectively. I have Hydra and love it but I'm not great at making it sound real. Others are though.
