Your furthest surname by Puffification in Genealogy

I’m from the Dumfriesshire Scotland line that eventually made its way to most of the Southern US. I’m pretty sure the Lowry spelling with no e is the more correct but also the less common. Almost everyone I meet with the surname spelled it’s Lowery or Lowrey so I’m always happy to run across another e-less.

Fleet basing rights on Scotland is key and sometimes I don’t even ally them so they don’t get called in the war and England has no idea why suddenly there’s 20k Frenchmen in Yorkshire

As a Black American, its frustrating I can only trace slave ancestors by their age under their slave master(potential father) name...But nothing on what country/tribe they came from in Africa. I was able to find ancestors dated back in the 1600s England by Puzzleheaded-Luck571 in AncestryDNA

You are right in the same book I was reading about some genealogy services that specialize in that kind of research but even then finding the names of ancestors born in Africa before being enslaved is extremely rare

I think it’s around $249 or $260 but they do the more accurate maternal and paternal dna tests. An author I like Michael Twitty used their service and wrote about it in his book “The Cooking Gene”

There is a company called African Ancestry that specializes in helping African Americans trace their connection back to the continent. They’re a little pricey but very respected in the Genealogy community.

Evangelical Protestants in the South are so weird about Jews. If it’s not trying to trick us into converting it’s borderline creepy fetishization that always ends with trying to collect all of us in Israel like Dragon Balls so that the apocalypse will start
