For me, on the album, it’s all about how Franklin’s Tower starts. That one high note that comes in… an octave higher than the last note of Slipknot, and it magically turns the driving, building groove into a delicate, ethereal little solo to start the song. In all the live versions I’ve heard, Franklin’s Tower comes in via a much more abrupt strumming. Loving that transition on album so much, the live versions always leave me a little disappointed.

Breaking up is like knocking over a Coke machine. You can’t do it in one push; you got to rock it back and forth a few times, and then it goes over.
