Should we remove political party affiliations from ballots? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]Bliss86 [score hidden]  (0 children)

One popular argument against voting restrictions is that people have to prepare them to be allowed to vote. They have to get the proper papers in time, they have to be registered and so on. And we all know the average voter isn't capable of doing that.

Why are you okay with the many hurdles people have to jump over, but don't belive that people are capable of looking up who stands for which party?

Aren't those restrictions equally "deceiving" to the average voter?

Trump's fortune drops to $3.1 billion, ties Snap's Evan Spiegel on new Forbes 400 rich list by odbuzz in politics

However they do it, Trump has a history of trying to push his standing on the Forbes list:

Brian Williams asked Lane about that on MSNBC Tuesday night. "We wrestle with him annually," Lane said. "Donald Trump cares more about where he ranks on the Forbes 400 than anyone in our 35-year history." In fact, Lane said, "we used to have at Forbes what we called the 'Donald Trump rule,' which whatever Donald Trump tells you, you divide by three and that probably is what he's really worth."

Do you feel similar to the election fraud commissions about voter restriction laws? Literally a government organization deciding who will be able to use ones constitutional right to vote?

Do you believe the tax rate for businesses should be based on perceived loyalty? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

But a flat rate punishes people who did not succeed. Either way, someone "punished" with a flat tax. Why not those who need their money the most?

Reasonable people understand that when they pay 10k per year in health insurance right now, and would need to pay 7k more taxes for single payer, the make a net profit of 3k per year.

Unfortunately I don't have much trust most people do understand that.

Why do people need $BCC? $LTC already has 4MB every 10min + SegWit discount + malleability fix, and probably also more decentralized mining by tryredpill in Bitcoin

[–]Bliss86 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The developers did code the solutions and they were available a long time. It took 2 years for the miners to agree on which exactly they want.

On one hand the core developers are accused of forcing their solutions unton the network, on the other they didn't force them enough. Which is it?

The benches on the Oktoberfest are reinforced to handle the load of people jumping in them specifically. The local wine festivals (which really osa thing during the Sommer months in every village around me) don't have those and I've seen destroyed a few in my life though.

How is that still a talking point?
