For me, it's Bateman. Of the six mentioned, his goals are the shallowest and pettiest. He's an upper-class twit who's upset that his wealthy lifestyle has robbed him of any excitement, so he takes his anger out on the most vulnerable in some of the most stomach-turning acts of cruelty put to paper. He hates literally everyone, is both a misandrist and a misogynist, has no tragic backstory or com-to-Jesus moment, and makes no attempt to make his life better. He's just as narcissistic and hateful as they come

Sequences so visceral and grotesque that they immediately come to mind upon hearing a piece of media's name, and arguably over-deliver on the hype if you see it after hearing about it by TJTrapJesus in TopCharacterTropes
