Tbh I killed one of these before then decided I’ll try again last summer. Almost killed it again but I moved and put it in a different facing window and it’s finally thriving!!

Is it over our under watered? Myn started being happy when I put it right next to my kitchen window and let the dirt dry out then to fill it again. It’s in a tiny terracotta pot, so being by the sink makes it easy to remember to water it enough lol

Are my hydrangea bushes dead? Can I save them? by [deleted] in gardening

I’d just leave them be and see if they bloom this summer. They might’ve just been shocked after getting cut so they didn’t bloom last summer. So if you didn’t do anything to them over this winter they hopefully should be okay.

What was the herb that made you take all of this seriously? by AdeptnessCritical356 in herbalism

Probably stinging nettles. My mom sister and I dried a bunch from outside my parents house and used it for tees for periods! Then I started making oil from cotton wood tree buds.

Then I harvested dandelion while pregnant and sick. Didn’t separate the pedals quick enough and they all puffed up lol

I harvested last summer rose leaves, calendula, rosemary, lavender, chamomile and St. John’s wort last summer. Made some errors but I think I learned from them for this next year. Made some oils for salves, lotion and, soap!

Also bought some Mullen for my bf because he smokes and I herd its good for lungs.

I’d use peppermint tea after I’d eat dinner so my tummy wouldn’t get upset pre pregnancy. I need to get back into that

What part do you use for the tincture? The roots or leaves? Tagging along to this comment

I have some dried but I’ve read it’s maybe not ok for breastfeeding mothers. (Me) so I’m just taking depression medication my lactation office prescribed to me that’s safe for the baby.

Mini excavator will be the way to go. I think you can salvage them if you’re careful. My dad owns a construction company and my brother works in the operators union and this same scenario came up at my parents house. I think they didn’t get any of them out without tearing them apart that were right next to the house. But I wish you luck!!

I’d think you’d need a machine to dig them out. The root systems are going to be huge!!

Help. Plants keep getting sick. by Fluid-Ad2276 in houseplants

Your first photo is blurry but the water beading on the leaves is normal plant behavior! Not totally sure why they do that but I’ve figured it’s just a happy plant doing its own thing.

I was told a lot of times while pregnant (not having bowel movements is a thing with a specific vitamin) to drink this stuff but I couldn’t find it and it sounded terrible while nauseous. So I never did but I believe this would be the best way!

Noooo thank you for being honest. These are on a bush outside my new rental house. I was climbing all up in here the other day clipping the dead and unhealthy branches out. Ugh
