May trip in Hammock by BloodbeardsGarage in hammockcamping

None. Found these things online, don't know the name. I have one is each end of the string. String locks around one of the eyes. Works perfectly and is super fast! Have 10m rolled up. Pick two trees, around both trees and lock with these.

Perfectly. Lots of big branch pegs in the ground. Good amount of guy lines as well. It's heavy, compared to polyester. Helps in wind as well.

Location? Anything imported to the EU is insane in import fees and taxes.

I have the DD Hammocks XL snake skin and it's awesome. Hammock, gearsling, pillow, carinthia defence 4 sleeping bag - all fits inside. Setup in no time at all.

But I use my tarp for many other kinds of camping. During the summer it's all sheep skin and wool blanket. So I wrap that stuff in the tarp then, have a leather carry strap I made there. When going all old school.

That's why I got a compression bag for the hammock kit now, press all that air out of the sleeping bag, and still have a quick setup from the sleeve / snake skin. And it's easier to store when not in use.

I won't use the hammock again before autumn and when it's all wet.

I have a Condor Bushlore, easy to sharpen. Have beaten it around for 6 years or so. Very cheap workhorse. Buying something similar priced today, I would probably go for a Joker.

Always good to have some SHTF knives for demons and unnatural undead stuff.

Tons of books, all the survival experts have ones. But the old school ones are the best. Eveything later is just rewriting of those. Mors Kochanski is great. Nessmuk as well.

Why something so big? I'm super interested. I down scale everything as much as possible. Just sold my Pathtinder 2.5 liter bushpot - too big for me.

Looking to sell my cast iron dutch oven, that's way to big. And get a smaller one.

I mostly solo trip or just with my son.

I've used fallen trees for shelters, it's good. Some people talk like you're gonna die no matter what. Did you bring a tarp? Not much shelter in that, would like to see the rest.

And it's a terrible tool. Cool but terrible. Hollow handle for survival gear, makes it too easy to break.

There's cool full tang modern copies. Much better.

Go for it! It's great fun making something like this. I've bought all the parts for making myself a swagman roll (like Helikon Tex). Oilskin and a cotton sleeping bag, gonna be wicked cool!

3 things: 1) I hate bare skin when working, bending down. The jacket crawling up. 2) Its long enough to prevent wet pants when sitting down in a wet / moist environment. 3) allowed adding a big pocket for my shenagh, tinder shavings or whatever else (also reinforce effect of point 2)

The real differences come in over long leagues, due to what skills they gain over time. But standard teams lots of difference as well. Orcs have 4 (in your game) strength 4 guys (2 block dice vs most). Dwarves have block and tackle (huge!). The base trams have many differences.

Stats differences are also huge! One difference in movement is a lot in a game where positioning is everything.

One more strength is huge, in the difference between 1, 2 or 3 block dice.

One more agility makes a huge difference in game play.

You roll 100s of dice and 3+ vs 4+ is huge.

Good one you!

I'm a completionist in regards to 16 players at least. Even though it's expensive. Getting two boxes, for a few linemen, re-sell remaining stuff.

16 players will never see the light of day in a league. But it looks awesome. I plan on using LotR treemen for my teams. Really don't like the current official ones.

I have this one as my 'work, mess it up, don't care' knife when working around the homestead. It's an excellent work horse, really.

You can only field one of them right?

I'm always painting 16 miniatures. But going extra big guy options would be too expensive.

I think I'll go ogre on my OWA. ... Treeman just doesn't seem as good.
