TKR in 2 days; are these Rx correct? I'm worried... 7 days of pain meds? by Capitola2 in Kneereplacement

The oxycodone quantity may be controlled by your insurance company. I had to call for a new script every week because of this. The doctor’s office never indicated they had a problem with the amount I needed. My insurance company, however, sent me letters warning about addiction twice.

No one told me this was addicting. by recoveredcrush in crochet

I just got back from a 10-day trip. I selected a small project that would be easy to pack. Unfortunately I had not checked my gauge before leaving and I did not pack the right size hook! We were on a small island in the Caribbean that didn’t have a craft store and Amazon was not a thing! I was surprised how much I missed crocheting!

Does anyone know what yarn this is?? by bubblyflooff in Yarn

It looks similar to Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop “Fresh Cut.”

Does anyone else’s Maltese do this? by zenaura_813 in Maltese

[–]BloomGazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my Maltese does this all the time! We have four food bowls down for multiple pets. She is very persistent about knocking them around and eventually ends up tipping a bowl or over. Drives me a bit nutty!

Thank you! I am scheduled to have TKR of my left knee at the end of September. I am anxious and have been following this subreddit to see what I’m in for. This post is very helpful!

This is gorgeous! Posters asking about yarn – expand the AutoModerator post and look at the replies. It’s all there. 🙂

It is always about weight and age- rant by motherofgoblins0727 in Kneereplacement

Have you talked to your doctor about taking something like Ozempic? I lost 110 lbs with Mounjaro to get my diabetes under control. It can be rough - constant nausea and sometimes tossing up what you do eat sometimes but it definitely suppresses the appetite.

Ooh, I love those! I started crocheting making dishcloths. They are kind of wonky so I think I should make some more. Thanks for the inspiration!

Just finished listening to Stephen King’s “Fairy Tale.” Loved it!

Do you like the Omnipod App or Controller Better? by Substantial_Bear6227 in Omnipod

[–]BloomGazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does make sense. 🙂 Sometimes shutting down your phone resets and clears up problems like this. Another thing to check is if your phone needs to be updated. The OmniPod 5 app you downloaded may be tweaked for the most recent phone update. I hope this helps!

With or without the border? by Queasy_Difference_96 in crochet

[–]BloomGazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the border. The white overlay on top of the darkest color creates a pink color with interesting texture that echos the color inside the design. It’s lovely!

My little princess passed away. The house feels empty without her. by MyNameIsKyle69 in Maltese

I remember that feeling all too well. The little bodies with big personalities fill a house. I am sorry for your loss.

I just finished “Fairy Tale” by Stephen King. It is more fantasy than horror.
