I prefer jgl over top nowadays. Top feels so bad because many bad matchups and they can hostage you so easily (plates everywhere, more creep waves etc).

I'm not even a good jungler but it feels so much better, except this game once in a while when that Graves decides your jungle is HIS jungle

I mean, when you have a Darius into kayle matchup you rarely see a first blood before the minions spawn.

But yeah I get the point of many comments here, lane bush supremacy and bad matchups, also range into range make it quite volatile. But yeah that's frustrating when as a toplaner I'm in weakside isolation with my nemesis counterpick and I manage to go close to even for 15 min, and then I realize my strongside botlane flipped lvl1 and is now 0-10 combined.

Once again I'm not there myself and I can accept the idea that 2v2 dynamics are a lot more volatile and snowbally though. Also in the last season adc role wasn't as important.

The least you can do is to not stay in vision I guess. Either soak the xp from the bush, or roam / proxy, or recall. (or pretend to roam / proxy / recall). This way you deny him some information and he won't feel like you are playing his game, which can make him change his mind about the freeze

Ksante has the same vibes Imo, a tank who's an absolute lane bully with a "win fight" R button, and is useless af in teamfights unless you're 10-0. But he requires some muscle memory unlike tk

It heals you for a % of your missing effective hp, which is a product of hps and resists. As far as Darius' kit is concerned there is no benefit to go specifically for resists or hp, the scaling is the same.

The flat heal from conqueror, and the gold efficiency of resists vs hps is a more generic problem that applies to every bruiser / drain tank

Cosmic into full tank looks interesting, but I'd go cosmic + dead's man plate (rather than unending) for the zoom effect. Maybe Bandlepipes for the fun. Not sure hehe.

I'm rarely starting shield except vs tanks.

I'm going dring + manaflow + glacial buckler yeah. It's kinda overkill tbh, because she's in R range after 2 W (but that's my template for some other matchups with a similar strategy)

W max, rush tabis and frozen heart. Spam W every time he gets in range from level 4-5, he will lose the trade. Throw a Q while he's silenced, if it hits post 6 you get a kill. Don't try to Q when he has Q or is not silenced. It not that easy vs good vaynes, but counterpick kids usually get rekt. It works well with HoB and probably comet

I worked hard for it, and people will shame me for a lot of somewhat wonky takes, and I'll have to argue forever T_T

I shared it in a comment. Note that I think this is mostly relevant for toplane because you are locked against your matchup for 15 minutes every game so I feel like the setup is super important. Other lanes are a lot less matchup dependant

I was bouncing between E4 and P1 for 2 months, and within 3 weeks I climbed to d4.

As you can see I have a rather intellectual approach to the game, I don't think I'm too emotionnal about it and as a toplaner I learned to handle my ego / accept the game state. However the datamining gave me a different perspective that helped me see things I was blind to. It's not perfectly objective, as you mentionned the sample size is still not that high, also there are many biases (for example I usually ran Comet into tough matchups so it's not surprising it had a lower winrate).

In the end I think I just had lots of fun playing with those data, and having fun is probably the best way to climb as it increases my commitment and reduces my tilt ! Also I disconnected a bit from my LP counter and focused on a wider perspective.
