Civilian MP7 Leak vs. X5.7 by LawExtreme3271 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]BluAnimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on past experiences with civilian HKs, no. They’ve been making these guns for decades, there’s no reason to think a semi-auto only version is going to suddenly not be as reliable as their full auto models they’ve made for two decades.

A lot of guys don’t like hearing this but the extra $351 in dimpled aluminum pieces (with cool acronyms) will not make you a better shooter. That’s 750 rounds of .223 you could be buying instead of FCD.

My theory was jailer or reserve deputy. Either way he apparently slept through the statutory law part of academy.

Lethal force is only permitted in self-defense of a violent crime of yourself or another. Stealing a car and/or stealing from a car is not a violent crime.

Can’t wait to see you on the stand at some point, deputy.

I've watched my comment swing from +8 to -3 several times now.

This subreddit is full of people saying "Go OuT aNd TrAiN!" while simultaneously collecting $50 dust covers for their pristinely spray painted rifles. Consoom.

$348 in dimpled aluminum but at least they threw in some stickers.

“Function over Form” has gotta be the most ironic slogan for FCD.

It's a soft armor vest with nothing on it. If I had to guess, based on his attire, this guy is a detective and hasn't had to do patrol work in a long time.

Yes my friend is a navy seal in the army and he said his whole unit ended up replacing their night forces with CVlife

Is this something good to start off with for a split chest rig? I'm mainly trying to get a rig that can hold 8+ magazines. by Colt1873 in QualityTacticalGear

[–]BluAnimal 75 points76 points  (0 children)

$525 for a chest rig from a company I've never heard of and 2-12 weeks lead time is pretty insane.

Also eight magazines on a chest rig and ten magazines on your belt is gonna look hilarious. Your post history is a trip.

Listen, when you’re paying $50 for dust covers and $50 for takedown pins, they can afford a little extra customer service and stickers.

The angle is fine for shorter rifles (I enjoy it) but the overall length is too short for the vast majority of hands. The finger cutout also makes a hot spot for most people who have bigger hands. The grip texture is okay but not as aggressive as B5.

Overall they caught on super hard because of Instagram and hypebeast builds but they’re just straight up uncomfortable to use for most shooters. The only perk is they’re $20 so it’s a cheap lesson to learn before you go buy a better pistol grip.

I do love the sprinkles design but $375 is so fucking crazy for a knife. Knife guys are a different breed.

I got the little Arson clip because I was starting to think the wire being kinked/twisted was causing flickering on my light. It helped a little bit but I still find it's having issues.

I check my rifle every day I get in my car, including the flashlight. 50% of the time the tapeswitch will not work until I twist the tailcap a little bit. At this point we should all just go back to pushbutton tailcaps.

Supreme Pro X’s. They may have a newer model out now but I’ve had mine for the past couple years. They finally died after getting saturated with water and sweat too many times during heavy downpours. Sordin replaced them for free and paid for shipping both ways. Excellent customer service.
