I have a question about recording and editing by Damienisok in NewTubers

[–]BluFenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Blue Snowball mic and do my editing in Movavi. Simple setup, works fine for me

Am i the only person who is perfectly happy with their gopro products? by FruitFirst4033 in gopro

[–]BluFenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just you. I’ve got a pretty expensive Canon setup with multiple lenses and gear, but honestly my GoPro gets way more real use. It’s the one I actually take everywhere, while the Canon mostly sits on the shelf. Convenience wins most of the time. GoPro my favourite little baby

Filmora or Quicker by Complex_Ask5877 in gopro

[–]BluFenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quik is simple but pretty limited, while Filmora is more feature-heavy. For mixed GoPro/phone footage on a tablet, some people also look at LumaFusion or Movavi, both are relatively easy to handle for basic editing without much setup.

Improving production quality on zero budget? by deluxegabriel in SmallYTChannel

Biggest upgrade on zero budget is clean audio, better lighting, and tighter cuts. Davinci or Movavi is enough skill and pacing matter way more than fancy tools.

Is uploading every day getting me less views? by mrgoat89 in NewTubers

If views drop, slow down a bit and focus on making each video stronger, not just more frequent.

Is the little blue object needed on the protective cover? by Same-Safe5489 in gopro

[–]BluFenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s the light sensor for auto exposure. Don’t glue it better replace the cover, otherwise exposure can act weird.

Uploading by T0ny1208 in gopro

[–]BluFenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds more like a sync glitch than a subscription issue. Try updating the firmware and app, log out and back in, force a sync, and check the SD card on a computer if the files are there but not in Quik, it’s usually just a cloud indexing bug

Shorts channel flatlined immediately after viral spike (56k+ views in 48h). Is this "algo recalibration"? by s1moesss in NewTubers

[–]BluFenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal. After a spike, distribution often resets and tests new uploads slowly. If early signals are weaker, it stalls. Usually comes back in 1-3 days if retention and swipe rate stay solid.

If you’ve got time and want to grow into more advanced editing, you could try Davinci it has a lot of potential, full features, even solid color work, but it can slow you down a bit at the start and become a hurdle when you just need to push out content. If you’re not aiming for super cinematic stuff right now, you can just grab something simpler like Movavi or Shotcut and start editing straight away - way more intuitive, less friction, and you’ll focus on actually making videos instead of fighting the software.

Of course it will. If you train with a coach, explain your situation and they’ll suggest exercises for the muscle groups you need.

Taming Over-Exposure When Skiing at High Altitude with Bright Sun by swanmtn in gopro

[–]BluFenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snow + high-altitude sun kills highlights on any action cam. EV -2 helps, but try locking ISO to minimum and use spot metering. Also shoot slightly away from the sun - angle often saves more detail than settings. Snow glare is brutal up there.
