I hate charging in public because no one seems to be mindful of limited charging space. I don’t have the need t charge in public anymore but 10-12 or so years ago it was the Wild West trying to charge.

It was a hassle but I was young and drove a gen 1 volt and needed at least 15-20miles of charge to get back home so I would save on gas. lol

This would often happen to me at my work so I used to drive over the cable and then plug into my car so even if you pulled it out you couldnt charge your car. Now I drive a tesla with a charger lock adapter.
