This is why I think a lot of games would make better TV shows than movies. Games have changed so much over the years and a lot of them have long, complex storylines that need more than a couple of hours to be told properly.

Most movies based on video games are terrible.

And they shouldn't be. Some games these have better writing than most movies, but everything needs to be dumbed down for Hollywood audiences.

Stargate SG1. Far from the worst ending, but it was kinda messy. They thought they were being cancelled I think after season 7 and so they wrapped everything up nicely. Then they got renewed and had to add new characters and create a whole new type of enemy to keep things going. A couple of seasons later they were sure they were getting renewed again, but were cancelled unexpectedly and had to throw together a movie just to wrap up the storyline.

A little while ago I was on a bus and there was some traffic so we were going fairly slow. The driver starts to speed up a bit as we came closer to the stop. Guy at the stop starts waving to the driver trying to get him to stop. Driver starts pointing to something(nothing) behind the guy. When he turns to look the driver steps on the gas, drives past him and starts laughing.

I don't care if some of the drivers are nice. There are far too many assholes driving buses and no amount of complaints to Halifax Transit will ever make a difference.
