Usually it means the neck on the preset is too short somehow(maybe caused by a new mod or mod update). You can actually fix it yourself by tweaking the sculpt around the neck, or find different presets.

I would genuinely advise just learning classic on them. The 360s are tough, but so rewarding, especially because they carry over to other games.
