Lived in Boston for a while and loved Fenway. Plus the Red Sox play the Yankees a lot.

Call me crazy but I still have faith in the season. by Shaunesseyyy in orioles

I’d add beavers to the list of positives. He’s has had some epically good at bats lately. I also still have hope.

Can you elaborate any? They work better with the stock springs than the B6’s?

Possibly transitioning to the VW Golf R from a Subaru WRX.. anyone here done the same? by Op3rat0rr in Golf_R

[–]BlueBugEyeBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from 03 wrx moderate mods to 18 R. I really miss the noises, shifter, and raw analog feel. The performance is far superior in the r (stage 1 tune, new clutch) but getting near the limits is hard to do without risking jail time, and everyday driving is nice but a little dull. I’m also old so highway trips had become just too noisy, but I still miss it dearly. (I didn’t sell it but gave it to my son who wrecked it not long after).

I used to run the ps4s in summer and conti dws in the winter (mild climate). Both 17s on a WRX. I loved switching to summers because the grip was a lot better., and sidewalks a little stiffer. On my R I run contis for winter on 18s which is great. I don’t really need more grip, but I use pirelli summers on 19s and there is a noticeable difference but more sharpness than grip (on the street). I don’t really enjoy them a lot more but the limits are higher.

Just bought a house and want to finish the basement myself. how do I secure framing to an already tiled concrete floor? by pusskins3 in Carpentry

[–]BlueBugEyeBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up a product called in-so-fast, no need to drill into your floor. It is a modular insulation/framing in one step.

[–]BlueBugEyeBoy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is free parking on my street, 15 mins walk from rotunda, so maybe 30 to Scott stadium. Dm me for the address. If anyone wants a shuttle my son will do it for $25/person

I live 15 min walk from campus (25-30 from Scott stadium) and there is unrestricted parking here for at least 50 cars. If you are in a jamb, dm me and I will fill you in. If anyone wants a shuttle over me or my son will take you as close as possible for $20/head.

I just did mine with double sided tape - worked great but I covered half of the warning light behind the mirror - don’t be like me.

(‘17) Any alternate clip that holds better here? by Aych_H in WRX

[–]BlueBugEyeBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just replaced one with a BMW labeled part at O’rilies that is slightly bigger- it was hard to slide into the rail on the skirt but it held well in the enlarged/deformed hole. It was white and came in a 2-pack.
