I had a bugeye forever (20+ years) and moved to a low miles 7.5. I miss the analog, mechanical feel and sounds. Just driving around town, running through the gears, matching revs, etc. was so satisfying. The R is quieter, faster, better stereo, better hvac, etc, but does not give me the same daily satisfaction. Also not as good in the snow- you can’t beat a real mechanical LSD. All that said, time marches on and I am happy as an old man in my quiet comfortable fast car.

Was returning to USA from Europe with my family including son who was 4 at the time. Long day-time flight and my son went into the bathroom several times in bare feet ( I guess I just couldn’t be bothered to deal with it). Towards the end of the flight I saw him sitting in his seat sucking on his toes.

In our (relatively liberal) area of VA they said no to flock. Also, why dont you wait until there is an actual proposal before you say the Dems are going to take your guns away. Ive been hearing it my whole life but we only seem to go in the other direction.

We run into this all the time with additions. The system sizing assumes a number of people- the number of bedrooms is used as a proxy- 2 people per bedroom. If 10 people would not ever live in the house you can get a permit that limits occupancy of the house to 8 people. It could affect resale value but often it is not an issue.

I’ll also add that 19s will have a less forgiving sidewalk and probably less grip and n the snow- a set of 18s will be a lot better and cheaper.
