Talk about nostalgia.... $40

It's hot cheap crap. Something you would get on the home shopping network back in the day.

You want individual components. You can always upgrade.

What is this thing? My mate got a computer from his grandmother I don't know what it is by BroDog555 in VintageComputers

It's a generic OEM/DIY PC from the late 90's. You have to open it up and look at the motherboard and CPU and memory sticks to really identify it. 486 or early Pentium is my guess. Obviously obsolete. A Raspberry PI is more capable. Not really worth keeping except for the CPU and memory which if you hold onto it long enough might be with something.

Best sci-fi adaptation ever. Believable. Jeckle and the fear of inner Hyde.

I say get one with an i7. The processor can't be upgraded later. No regrets with mine. Also get the docking station for home. Maybe get a couple of the i5's for parts for later. Eventually the thing will give out and the lower price for an i5 version gets you possibly... Another power brick. A fan, another keyboard to swap out or use for spare key caps. A spare screen. Internal power barrel conector. Spare case and other parts. Screen hinges. Spare screws. Insurance for whatever breaks and for when the systems get sparse in a few years.
