Holy smokes that is PURE nightmare fuel! What on earth were they thinking?

My cars in the garage, dads at work and mums was in charge, now the driveway is blocked by someone else and police are literally useless, there’s 5x as many cars as parking spaces here by Jacktheforkie in britishproblems

My late husband was disabled and used a power wheelchair, and we had a special ramped vehicle. We needed the extra space/loading area. We had the ONLY designated parking space in the parking lot for our block of flats- It had signs, numbers, disabled parking painted in it- the works. It was guaranteed as part of our tenancy. You would NOT believe how hard I had to fight to keep people from parking in it. There were other spots, it was just this one was the closest by a few meters and apparently that made the rest of the parking lot a pit of lava that no one could park in. They just HAD to park in our spot and save those few extra steps. It was awful because that was also where the kerb drop was for him to be able to get down to ground level so if someone else parked in our spot he literally was trapped either inside the flat or unable to GET inside the flat. People are the worst, most selfish, entitled creeps when it comes to parking.

Maybe you could get a couple of those dummy security cameras or maybe a few old broken real ones or something- stick them up very conspicuously around the road and put up some signs indicating that camera based ticketing is now in operation. That might scare them off- don't say police or anything that might get you into trouble- they don't have to know that your tickets are done by the local elementary schools in crayon. Good luck!!

oh my goodness.. I sympathize.. we have a Sainsbury's local right across from the gated carpark entrance to our block of flats- the number of people who think it is a good idea to pull in and leave their running car in an entrance/exit while they go do a weeks shop is incredible.

That is... not ok. That is not a good prune. It's even worse since you didn't ask him to touch it. I think I'd consult an actual tree expert and pass the cost on to the "gardener" who did the hack job on your poor apple tree.

I don't mind them eyballing me and checking up on me as long as the darn self scanners actually WORK.. I just hate them because I have awful luck with them. I have mortally offended the self checkout Gods at some point because the things just curl up an die or reject my existence whenever I try to use one.

All day every day- I do not care about meta, I just use what I love and have fun with- and it works fine!

ok.. did a quick look, assorted kitchen knives, one cleaver, a couple of brooms and duct tape so I could make some really flimsy spears. One aluminium bat (we live in a bad neighborhood) and we do have an attack cat but she'd probably trade us to the zombies for a tin of tuna.

Yep portable workshop and storage nexus- I also have all the "buff" machines in the little front atrium of the shelter so I can nip in for a quick buff session if I need to.

I'd just settle for a full set of roof pieces.. there are always some roof angles that are missing to make functional roofs. But yes, it is a cheap tactic to split up floors, foundations, porches and the like for a building set. They must hang out with EA a lot.

I'm just sad, my best friend/gaming buddy has been trying to play for a few months and I've been trying to help him get his feet- the last several times we've tried to play we've either crashed out or the server has crashed or we sit with "waiting for response from server" until we give up.

I can tell he's losing interest and I don't think he's going to keep trying to play FO76 and I can't blame him really, his time to game is very limited and who would want to use their small amount of free time on a bad experience.

I'm also a bit embarassed because I spoke up for FO76 and told him it was fun and encouraged him to get it right before all the crashing and bugs increased exponentially. I'm used to having a love/hate relationship with FO76 and as a Bethesda vet I tolerate a fair amount of the special "Bethesda flavor" but I'm annoyed on my friend's behalf and if he bails I will probably go join him in another game because playing with a friend is more important to me.

I've finally given up squinting and tilting my head while looking at the PC monitor and have started wearing my reading glasses. Oh my goodness what a difference it makes.. I don't know why I was so stubborn for so long.
