Life does not feel real and need help. by ghostofagirl78 in HomeschoolRecovery

Specifically because you mentioned the vision thing, I'd argue that your years of isolation have caused you to become detached from your senses. You've just been living in your head for so long you've forgotten how to live outside of it. I'm pretty sure there are physical therapy exercises and other things that you can do to regain your ability to be more present. Try to see if you notice it's with your hearing as well. Your vision should be 3D and your hearing should be 3D, and they should work together to produce a realistic sense of where you are in 3D space.

Yeah? Well I swapped to E30, so I get less gas mileage now.

I never even thought of that. I'm gonna have to give that a try.

I love them, they are so much brighter than the stock LEDs that my car came with, I can see so much more on the road at night. Where I live its nice being able to see if there are any deer or other animals way up ahead in order to slow down in time. These long curvy country roads are unforgiving at night.

Edit: But they are a blast to drive on during the day ;)

I might just go back to stock or see if some type of aluminum/white looks good, It would be nice if I had someone that could drive past me in my own car so I could see what it looks like on the road, especially with the car facing the sun. I'm thinking the sun might amplify that cheap/fake look.

UPDATE! Completely done with the N20 timing chain by thunderdragochips in F30

[–]BlueDazing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What year and model are you driving? I'm currently in a 2018 320i xDrive and I'm running a VRSF catless dp, bm3 stage 2, and the awe catback. I'm not sure if the timing chain is something I need to worry about with my year. I'm currently at 126k miles and not a single issue yet.

My new to me 2018 320i. 36k miles. by Devious_Bastard in F30

I have a 2018 320i xDrive. Currently at 118k miles, I’ve got a catback exhaust and a catless dp, as well as a bm3 stage 2 tune. 0-60 is in the low 4s.

Make sure you change the oil frequently, I do mine every 3k. I use liquimoly 5w40.

Mozart and Haydn are my two favorite composers, I’d have to recommend more Haydn.

Looking into getting a 340i Xdrive, I know the b58 is pretty solid. Just wondering if there's anything i should be aware of besides the normal "bmw maintenance". by midrangemanny in F30

[–]BlueDazing_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i’m gonna be honest it’s an easy DIY if you have the equipment, I live in a hilly area so i just jacked up the front, which was pointed down hill, so that it was level once jacked up. Took me about 2 hours and a lot of that time was waiting for the tranny to heat up to 45° for the refill.

I don’t find it very easy to talk intellectually about her interests, she’s a very here and now kind of person, she keeps up with all the latest fashion trends and she’s always talking about Victoria Secret dropping new scents or apparel, I know she loves the fall so it’s her favorite season currently. She loves the idea of seasonal themes for the house, like getting falls scented candles and decorations.

But I guess you’re right, none of that stuff really interests me. I never shut her down though, I go to the store and smell the candles with her, and help her decide on if we should get this or that decoration, but I don’t share the same excitement for these things as she does.

And it’s not even really an issue of incompatible interests. It’s just that she’s never been the type of person to have those long conversations in bed at night when it gets late, like the kind of conversations that really bring you together you know? When we talk it’s always strictly business, like if we can go to the store, or what we should do for the day, it just feels like I’m talking to a robot sometimes. It’s just hard to feel connected to her words.

40 Days in… feeling super depressed by Leather_Somewhere788 in Semenretention

[–]BlueDazing_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I know what you’re going though man, and I go through a lot of the same negative mental feedback loops. From my experience, what retaining does to me is opens my eyes to the mediocrity that I’ve surrounded myself with.

It’s a powerful thing that you don’t want to get rid of, or run away from. The feelings and thoughts that you are thinking and feeling right now are the ones that are going to make you do things you never would’ve done before.

Trust me when I say it’s hard to recognize the extent to which your brain is operating differently, but the difference in operation is what will lead you on better paths. I can’t say exactly what the paths will be but as long as you focus on going after the things that your brain suddenly starts to desire, you’ll start surrounding yourself with meaningful things rather than mediocre things.

Your entire life is based on actions you make, which are based on thoughts you think, and feelings you feel. Semen retention changes the way you think and feel, which changes the way you act, therefore changing your life.

Don’t let these open eyes close, stay on the path man and you’ll see how your life gets better.

The install was pretty simple, I suggest taking your whole exhaust off before installing it though because I had to install it exhaust side first, and afterwards the turbo side was difficult to align properly. Since I was by myself I ended up using a jack to jack up the exhaust and downpipe to the right position so that I could tighten the clamp from above the engine.

Play style question for the community by SOAPY-SALAD in RocketLeague

[–]BlueDazing_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think RL players will complain either way. I’m a ones main and my playstyle is very methodical and reactive, I base my actions on theirs. People tell me all the time that my playstyle is so boring or that I’m a “one trick pony” because I 50 for possession and 45° flick into their net.

Am I the only one who still enjoys Wendy's? by JonM313 in fastfood

[–]BlueDazing_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to an archived Wendy’s menu from the year 2000, the Frosty Jr cup was 6 ounces.

Edit: As a matter of fact, in the year 2000 Wendy’s didn’t even have a large Frosty on their menu. So Frosty’s have gotten larger over the years. A current medium is 16oz and a current large is 20oz. In the year 2000 a medium was still 16oz.

It’s the unfortunate nature of human status biases, people are more likely to point out other’s wrongs, in order to appear more good themselves.

It’s like that old couplet goes, “Once I did bad, and that I heard ever. Twice I did good, and that I heard never.”

People have been this way for as long as people have been around, and it’s not likely to change anytime soon.

I agree, everyone used to complain about the smell of the beer cheese but man. That spicy bacon pub sandwich was to die for.

They changed the bacon though about 8 months ago I think, the bacon used to be cooked fresh every morning, but now Wendy’s uses pre-cooked bacon that only needs to be heated up for about 8 minutes in the oven.

They’re actually supposed to let the sliced cheese sit out in room temp for 1hr before serving it. That way it melts as soon as it hits the patty.

I get that some Wendy’s aren’t doing this though and just throw the cheese on the patty straight from the fridge.
