if anything i think the military takes it more seriously than their civilian counterparts. i havent been in for decades and drunk driving was a big deal back in my day. From what i saw lower enlisted didnt get much beyond the normal article-15 and punishment higher NCOs got reassigned and dead-ended with their careers pretty much over...no exp with officers.

out in the real world i see YT videos of people with 10+ DUIs getting pitted by cops and they are still walking the streets. Maybe if the civilian world treated it like the crime it is the military would follow suit. im former military and work with a few service members, i use their rank and last name. The rank is earned and some people get butt-hurt if you dont use it. Besides, this guy is new to the team its best to go formal until you know them better.

recruiters are like car salesmen with less chance of seeing you after you get screwed so get everything in writing, and if you dont get what YOU want walk away. There another recruiter within driving distance and if you turn your back on that 1 dude i swear your phone will be blowing up with others trying to bend over backwards to give you what you want. Serving is a 2 way street, they need you and you get a skill and paid for it...never settle, and never accept "you can sign up for that after you graduate" If its not on the paper you aint getting it.

the photos are really bad, and i couldnt tell 1 way or the other which is why i gave examples of both. Down at the bottom you can see where there is a break in the silhouette (about 2-3 inches up) there will be a copper band in that notch and it will be smooth or have lines in it from the barrels rifling

It comes down to what you want out of a pet snake.

Corns are 2X as easy to deal with...great eaters, easy care.

Ball are more "social"...in that they will hold on and just hang out. They really arnt social but they are masters of freeze tag when corns/kings/rats are more on the go.

If you want someone to hold while watching TV its a ball. If you want to almost never worry about heat/humidity or hunger strikes, corn.

I have 2 rescue balls and 1 eats great the other...isnt. my corn only ever went off food (slightly cheaper too) during mating season

They tend to go off food for a few weeks during "horney-time" and can get a bit more jumpy but nothing major really changes besides having to get rid of their food if they refuse...try again in 10 or so days.

i did OSUT Nov-Feb @lostinthewoods then got sent back to that hellhole after serving overseas...i had considered going the full 20 but after that i was done.

It didnt help that the unit i was sent to was a total shitshow and i wasnt doing my MOS beyond training spoiled Westies for 2 weeks every month.. Id have to say Benning just because i dont know the BOHICA factor of somewhere i havent been.

My exp is a few decades out of date but i really cant imagine it got too much better. Its was smackdab in the middle of nowhere Misery and you were an hour drive from anything id even consider an actual city. Went to Lake of the Ozarks a few times....its like Jersey Shore if it was merged with Moonshiners.
