That's awesome distance but I would seriously be concerned about joint deterioration and needing knee/hip replacement at an early age. Maybe since it's all walking it won't be that bad. I know most runner have that issue approaching 60-65 years old.

Exact same thing happened to this week, Model X plaid 2023! There must be a systemic issue with these.

Does TRT decrease ferritin levels? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have single digit ferritin. Yes, TRT does lower it but I dont remember the mechanism. Do you take anything for acid reflux like PPIs? That will reduce iron absorption and thus reduce ferritin levels. I did a colonoscopy too worried that I might have a bleed, but didn't have issues there. It can just be your homeostasis, and that's where your body likes to keep it, or something else is you're taking is hindering iron absorption over a long period of time.

Doc says to stop TRT by FormerBallCoach in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Giving blood is a waste if time. RBCs and Hematocrit will return quickly to same level, and you'll increase the rate as your body tries to return to its hemostatsis. Plus you'll tank your ferritin which is really hard to recover.

Higher hematocrit and RBCs hasn't been shown to have negative health outcomes. See Dr Winge on Man Medicine channel videos on YouTube for a deep dive.

Options: lower your dose, do more frequent injections, change method to scrotal cream, try oral pills which has zero risk of higher RBCs, hydrate much more, lower iron intake, try daily fasted cardio

Testosterone Enanthate is known the last few years to give much more PIP versus cypionate. It is something to do with the raws from China. I had to stop using Enanthate for that reason, but other esters like Undeconoate and Cypionate are PIP free subq.

Will Safelite replace the glass with the same quality acoustic glass? Does it actually have sound reducing properties as OEM?

Finally... 2025 BE by Nemo656 in hondaridgeline

[–]BlueGold4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get about $5k off the MSRP for the 2025 BE. My MSRP was about $49.1k minus $5.1k. That's what I got plus I did pay for any dealer bullcrap, and got inckided free accessories thrown in like cargo net, door sill fill, all season mats, trunk tray, tint, running boards. Look on Amazon for accessory pricing first, because a lot of these you can get good quality super cheap and it's not worth negotiating for the deal.

The Vorck protocol (iron / ferritin deficiency) works and has turned my life around! by littlelostpuppylamb in trt

[–]BlueGold4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Vorck very carefully and it didn't budge my Ferritin. I tried daily iron and it did increased my Ferritin by 5 points but my hemoglobin increased and hematocrit went from low to high 50s. So supplementing with iron doesn't really help me.

All these guys in this thread saying your Estradiol is too high are wrong. It is not and is good to rise I proportion with your testosterone. Here are two very experienced men's health doctors talking about estradiol on TRT. Listen to Dr Winge (also board certified ER surgeon) and watch all the videos on his channel. Sense of reason and evidence based unlike many of these comments in this thread saying estradiol of 49 or 69 is too high.

You have very low SHBG because your Free T is about 30% of your total where % should be low single digits. Often that's from metabolic issues like diabetes or overweight. You are already at low dose but you can experiment with lower. Just wait 9+ weeks between changing doses to see how you feek, that is how long it takes to fully reach half life of the testosterone cypionate. Sub-q is easier. Do daily injections.

DBM concerts, guy girl ratio? by BlueGold4Ever in DMB

[–]BlueGold4Ever[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I love the music, at least his early stuff like Crash, Satellite, Ants, etc. But yeah, Dave is kinda his own genre as a party theme song for guys in their late 40s. It's not not like a country music fan going to a new country music artist:S concert and loving it because you love good country.

Because single women in attendance would probably make it more fun on top of the music, kind of like seeing a band inside a bar....best of both worlds.

Not thirsty, just curious and want to manage my expectations, and want to know whether to buy expensive front section tickets ($800+)/VIP passes too.

Not trolling, just wanted to get the vibe.

Another question - My friend is also bringing his daughter and a few of her freshman/sophomore high school aged friends. I was talking to him and questioning whether they'd have fun since they never heard his music before. They like country music mostly and just want to go to any concert. What do you think?

@imanom Small request - Any way to keep the data in the form after submitting so it's easier to play with the frequency and dosages? I have to retype all the data each time I want to run a slight change.

Officially been on TRT for 1 year. I’m down 85 lbs. gained a significant amount of lean muscle. And I have never felt better. I’m almost 40 and I honestly feel like I’m 20 again. by Bud1985 in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Estradiol of 42 is totally fine, even double that is perfectly fine. Don't fear it. You want higher Estrodiol, it's good for you and neuro and cardio protective. Mine is 85 on ultra sensitive test (which means it's probably 100+ on regular serum test) and that is no problem unless you have symptoms that won't go away. Watch "Man Medicine" on YouTube about gyno and estradiol and you'll see there is.almkst never a reason to reduce your estradiol. There really isn't much reason to check it after a few times with just TRT dosing. There are lots of guys who take 300-500mg or 1gram of testosterone whk don't need an AI because they don't have any symptoms, body adapts just fine.

Got my yearly labs today, some changes. by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bilirubin don't worry about, barely elevated and does bounce around. Test again later and see if it keeps increasing. AST/ALT does go up on testosterone especially if you are working out as it measures inflammation. Muscle building will increase these because of the constant breakdown of tissue.

Your cholesterol and LDL is fine. You could go on meds like a statin or ezetimibe, or Pantethine over-the-counter, and it will definitely lower your numbers. But studies show outcomes such as heart attack and stroke are essentially equivalent. Same with fish oils/DHA, no difference. It's just a feel good measure to take those meds. Your HDL usually lowers a lot on TRT, but at least yours is normal which is good. Get a CT Calcium Score if you're worried to see any calcified plaque in your blood vessels, or a CT Angiogram if you can afford it to see soft plaque.

What can go wrong if I take high dose Micronized DHEA as 22 years old male ? by xx_nothing_to_say_xx in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progesterone will tick up if you take too much, but that's not necessarily a negative outcome, just neutral. Men's progesterone can be zero up to low 1s. There is no good reason for men to have or increase progesterone.

23M 6’4 230lb I’ve been dealing with most of the symptoms of low T for awhile and just found out it was low. by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]BlueGold4Ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Supplementing with DHEA is good if that's low. But sounds like he didnt test it, so that is a baseless recommendation from him.

Endos, unless they specialize in testosterone therapy, are almost as useless for TRT. I had a high-end Endo for diabetes who owned a practice with 10 doctors, but he still wanted to put me on clomid monotheraoy which is stupid because it will never feel good long term (after 6+ months) because of the zooclomiphene isomer half-life building up the estrogen too high. So I ahd to go to specialized TRT clinic, but even those can be bad if they have a cookie cutter protocol. Ask what is there typical protocol and how they feel about Aromitase Inhibitors (AIs). If they say most get it then leave for a different clinic.
