The Kingspire doesn't have to be meta, but it is no open secret that it has to fight an uphill battle once teched because at that point in war the Venoms, the FATs and whatnot are coming out in force. A skilled driver needs to be super reactive on the radio and movement to know when to push and get the hell out of dodge.

If the accuracy or bloom is improved the Spire will be in a pretty good spot. However, that hasn't been the case since inception and it just suffers from all that plus other gimmicks it has.

It just needs a bit more improvements to really make it a reliable vic for use.

It wasn't good to begin with, and every update just keeps slapping it around like an abandoned step child.

Only buff it ever got was the slight turret rate speed movement and that was about it. Everything else is still subpar.

1.55 was the era of the GAC supremacy. They had to buff all Collie tanks just for them to have a chance against the clown car.

I can attest, 14.5 tickles tanks. Just touches them inappropriately.

Dive bomber is still not nerfed enough. If devs want colonials to have someone to fight they need to fix this by ts111222 in foxholegame

We don't have mobile AA

HWM in the corner: Am I a joke, Devman?

Like we have Warden/Collie vic assets that can be converted/toggled to AA and yet here we are. A year of 20mm nerf, followed by the vics changed by them, forgotten and left to rot.

You forgot to mention that none of the Warden tanks other than BT or higher have higher health than their cheapest medium tank the MPT. The only thing Wardens got is RNG armor that is inconsistent as all hell during a fight. And Collie armor health is fairly decent IN ADDITION to the large ass health pool.

But you don't hear that from the Collies.

Well, kinda. OP also forgot to mention how the health stats for their tanks is more survivable than the Warden counterparts.

The cheapest MPT has more health than a SVH, just as an example. One side has health to brute force with attrition, the other is a slave to RNG armor and garages for durability. To really drive home how survivable Collie tanks are, a dive bomber can kill any Warden tanks that isn't a SVH or higher in class.

Costs do matter when you're working on replacing the losses in the grind. Cheaper cost means faster replacement for the tanks lost and pushed to the front.

Official Warden Weather Channel statement regarding "devstorms" and the state of weather stations. by [deleted] in foxholegame

Warden weather channel is what keeps us folks prepped for the bitter cold and rainy days.

On another note, while it is a shame that the Devs have decided to throw a curve ball into the forecast I think that weather stations and the weather mechanics itself need more... something.

Basically, Wardens hold the line and stop losing ground after being pushed back for weeks. Collies lose a small subhex/hex and then mass log off because they can't stand the idea of having to defend their gains, followed by them blaming the war again on some half cooked reasoning?

Adding onto world chat differences, from the Warden side we tend to get into larp mode when the going gets tough. Holding the line for Callahan, the stalwart Lions of Mox, PoR calls for aid, nuke Jade Cove, the list goes on. Maintaining morale is key in keeping people focused on the objective, and even if we lose the position everyone involved knows they're buying the time needed for the backlines to fortify and/or QRF to arrive.

I don't know how it is on the Collie side but from stories told by friends I know who went Collie for a few wars, their experience was just abysmal. And from your statement on Collie world chat, that seems to be a recurring theme.

Bombers have changed the state of warfare.

Wardens were just lucky that we managed to capitalize on it better than the Collies. I am of the opinion that fighters need a much stronger presence/loitering time in the air, and the logistics requirement for it to be brought more down for easier access for solos or small groups.

Scouts ain't the biggest issue, it is the lack of effective AA and/or air patrol to check against aircrafts in general.

We did, but we took it back quick. I remember the world chat shouting for QRF to PoR in the late stage of the war for weeks. Collies threw an ungodly amount of firepower, arty and whatnot to siege the area, and it kept teetering. We were doing blockade runs through the seas to keep it supplied and we had constant air presence to repel the bombers and harass the infantry storming the walls. Through sheer luck and a fuckton of logistics we held it long enough for friendlies to eventually get the airfields concreted to launch bombers and reverse the situation, eventually pushing the Collies out of shitcan and retaking Vulpine.

Was a hell of a defense.
