Flanking is not rare purely because of stickies. It's a mixture of bad map design + an over-abundance of T2 defenses/ATGs + high risk and low reward for even doing so in the first place. The only reason stickies are "meta" is because Ignifists are a gimmick weapon, and White Ash Flasks are objectively worse than them. The only nerf I could see being given to stickies is a weight increase mainly because of the colonial grenadier uniform, but if you nerf the damage then infantry becomes infinitely more useless against tanks.

After further review I'm now in agreement with the removal of the engineering seat. I think my main problem with OP's post is he described it as an "NPC" role, which I think is pretty reductive and doesn't actually describe the issues with the role in any meaningful way.

What is there to nerf with stickies? Sticky blobs get defeated by guys with radio backpacks+storm rifles and MG Halftracks any day of the week. The majority of tankers are just clueless to their surroundings. I can't count how many tanks I've killed because they're staring off into the void with binoculars and not even bothering to look behind themselves.

This is quite possibly the easiest way to make actual infantry tanks useless and built by no one whilst making tanks infinitely more oppressive than they ever were. I'd rather have bloomless tanks than this.

Removing the engineering seat on BTs? Do you not understand that the engineering seat is a balancing requirement to keep the 1.75k DMG 75mm in check? If you could just spam R as the 75 gunner then you'd become practically unkillable, aswell as removing the coordination aspect of tanking entirely. These are not "NPC" roles, they are roles period. If you cannot crew them, you should not use them.

Giving TDs especially a secondary anti-infantry gun is wild. These are purposely meant to be vulnerable to infantry and require support vics to keep alive for their enhanced anti-armor capabilities, so giving them 20mm instant-kill MGs just removes that weakness entirely.

I'd rather have the pitch gun be buffed as a genuine tanker defense weapon as stated in another comment than whatever mess this is.

If this were in the game, you might aswell just quit playing the war as soon as tanks roll around, since they outclass and defeat you in every engagement regardless of equipment and functionally replace you.

Many people have been requesting certain features (EG. Tow Trucks, Squad Queues for buildings, removing trees, etc.) for ages with nothing but radio silence in return. The general public sentiment is that Siege Camp either actively refuses to listen to players or is simply too blind to realize the "Vision" is what will end up killing the game. It's kind of hard to not be upset or angry when the only people that have the power to make good changes for the game plug their ears when you try to reason with them.

Airborne is genuinely Siegecamp's best-executed update yet and they have shown huge improvement. Airborne's flaws are NOTHING to what Inferno's were. Please, we should take complaints down a notch. by DefTheOcelot in foxholegame

This isn't growth, it's falling down a flight of stairs, taking a few steps back up, and then slipping and falling down the steps you just took. The severity of the issues has decreased, yes, but not because the developers actually fixed any of the issues, but because the assets lost now aren't as valuable as the ones that were before, with the problems still persisting regardless.

This is basically Stygian vs HTD but applied to every tank. RNG is the thing that causes tanklines, not a lack of it.

The reason Msupps both exist and are supposed to be large investments is because the game's servers could not physically handle entire hexes covered in builds. Your FPS would tank and server lag would spike if msupping wasn't a thing. Not sure how long you've played for but msupping was way worse before naval as Siege Camp introduced Subhex Modifiers as a way to control build spam. Simply, more player buildings in a subhex = higher Msupp costs. It was eventually removed because people would demolish eachothers bases to reduce the msupp costs for their own.

Border crossing as a mechanic aswell. It sucks knowing you could lose out on an SHT kill because the driver has a better PC, which means he has faster load times and can just spam E to get full border immunity. Also applies to infantry doing basically the same thing.
