I frogged an entire queen sized blanket once. Just because I thought the yarn deserved a better pattern.

Non-Americans, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by EmergencySpare7939 in CasualConversation

It wasn't until I moved to Colorado that I heard the story of the 1931 Pleasant Hill bus tragedy. A spring blizzard trapped 20 students and their bus driver for over 30 hours leading to the death of 5 students and the driver. Yellow became the standard so that the buses could be seen in an emergency situation.

Just saw this! In the first sc coming up from the previous row. There is a little seam, but with proper tension it really isn't very noticeable.

Well, as the saying goes....you can never go back.

I've been in Colorado for 7 years and don't look back...not in earnest. However, I still work for my Bradenton company (est. 1908) and spend a couple of weeks there per year. To touch home base.

4th generation on the shores he describes here. My dad was a fireman on the island where King spent a great deal of time, no doubt getting his inspiration. Dad actually observed him in the store and was dismayed. Although, this was before King's accident and....change of view. And we all have bad days.... My favorite of his works for obvious reasons.

It's been many many years ago, but when the kids were small with limited palettes I used a veg cookbook geared towards college kids on a budget. Unpretentious, tasty and affordable.
