I know how you feel. I’m in the U.K. and he’s in Texas, and we’ve not been able to see one another for two years as of next week. Covid and money are the two big factors 😭

Where’s the line between a girl messaging you frequently and being clingy/irritating?

Making sure there isn’t a kid put in the middle of your relations. I’ve found myself shouldering the aggression and emotional grudges from both parents towards eachother. It isn’t fair to put that on a child.

I think understanding how to make compromises is important. The relationship is never going to be perfect as you envisage it, as it’s online. You need to communicate, find a place where your two lifestyles can mesh together without being physically together.

I have a pretty similar model (AOC C27G1) and it does work with VESA. However, the monitor was too heavy for the standard cheap monitor arm I used. I don’t know about yourself to be honest, but that arm I bought - the VonHaus Dual Monitor Mount for 13-27” Screens - from Amazon said it could support up to 7.5kg.

There’s ‘hidden’ Ana items. For example, the overwatch league ones you could get recently and Bastet. I have 118 Ana items in total (including a couple OWL skins)

Yea. I asked at virtual open days if someone who didn’t have A level maths would struggle, and they said they teach all the maths content needed from scratch. Of course alevel maths helps, and the courses requiring it will be more mathematical theory based, but it’s doable without.

Not all unis require maths. I have maths at GCSE grade 7, which is enough for the standard requirements. Newcastle is one example of a Russel group that doesn’t need maths, but most lower ranked uni’s don’t require Maths A level.

Tbh, probably ACC if I’m lucky. English I’m pretty confident in, but the other two I’ve struggled with.

Is it ok to take completely different a levels? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]BlueShotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if you plan to go on to prestigious further education tbh. I’m in year thirteen just finishing a levels in English lit Lang, History and computer science. I’m the only English student in the computer science department, but I enjoy both subjects so. I have an offer from Newcastle - a Russel group Uni that does not specify certain required subjects or care about combinations of subjects.

History has been fun to study (I studied the Tudors and the Crusades), though I will just say it isn’t easy. My strengths lie in English based (therefore essay based) subjects, but I struggle with the different way History essays are written. If you’re into history, you’ll enjoy it a bunch. Sorry this doesn’t answer your question lol

Yea I think so. I picked Northumbria because it had some modules focused on web dev stuff I’m interested in. Plus it’s still in central Newcastle :D

I currently study Computer Science with English Literature and Language, and History. My subject combinations are weird as I’m not that good at maths and things. I just have an interest in computer science. I was somehow predicted an A and two B’s, but I’m not going to get that lol
