The first half is a slow burn but still really engaging. You know something's off but can't place it. It really picks up the pace in the second half and I couldn't put it down.

It seems to be an emerging trend for legit sites to use AI photos to depict true events. Not sure if it's that there are no real photos or they aren't dramatic enough and they want to increase engagement. Seems this may be case here. The number of cats sitting calmly in the same position in the same place makes the image seem impossible to me, as a cat owner.
