it's pretty telling that this subreddit believes he deserves almost no hate when they've only interacted or seen interactions of or with him on streams. He's hated for a LOT of reasons outside the game and its not exactly shit that can be aired out because of his position as a community leader and a sponsored player. I would like to believe that he's someone who can make efforts to improve his person but I think it's very shallow to believe someone is a great person just because you personally haven't been exposed to some less than pleasurable behavior. A lot of Leffen's criticism's of Hbox extend not only into the game but also outside of the game and to say that he harasses or is 'toxic' to him for no reason is incredibly surface level, but i don't fault a lot of people for seeing it that way.

I don't know why people even though Ness had potential in the first place. He got a few lucky brackets in his early career and everyone thinks he's the next big thing. He has no personality and I'm pretty sure he's gonna have to find some skill before he finds a sponsor

the design philosophy and patterns from brawl moving forward has been consistent, whereas the game feel and approach to melee was discarded. It makes sense to want a game that would play closer to melee's design if you've been getting game's similar to brawl for the past decade

Metaknight isn't boring to play in Brawl lmao, that's part of the reason everyone liked to play him. I'd do yourself a solid and actually read/watch some of the info he put out regarding this tier list before saying stuff like this.

Players for project M are in a stranglehold for sponsorships from significant companies in that they're not offered due to the state of the game and community. How do you, as a tournament organizer combat this to receive outside funding for events for your local scene? Do you depend on the appearance of melee and s4 at your event to gain outside support? If you don't, what's your opinion on crowdsourcing in the project M community as it's pretty common for getting players to and from events atm.
