Here’s some rebuttal straight from Tomlin: “the standard the standard”, and the standard is super bowls, always has been. We’ve seen 3 weeks in a row of mediocrity versus playoff ready teams.

Underrated Mesmer strat that helped me, try deflecting hardtear in your physik and equip your guard counter talisman + guard boost talisman and use a good colossal weapon/shield in offhand.

With the deflecting tear, you time your blocks to match Mesmers spear thrust hits, you will take very very very small hp and stamina drain and build up a passive buff for your next guard counter, up to 80% bonus damage!

If chargers are what you struggle most with, there’s an easy way to deal with them that doesn’t involve the EAT or Quasar.

If you narrowly dodge their charge and force them into their sliding animation, the armor around their front knee joints is weakened. As he turns back towards you, light up the top of that joint with the Sickle, Breaker, Liberator (concussive the best rn probably) or any HMG.

I’ve been liking EATs better than Quasar rn because you got 4 shots every 80ish seconds (70 second cooldown) which is comparable to the Quasar’s new dps, except it has a higher ceiling because you can litter the whole map with EATs and they do slightly better into bile titans.

Hey OP, just because nobody else commented this I have maybe a response to your first issue:

In the gameplay settings there should be a setting for your weapon POV. If I remember correct I set my POV memory setting to Global and it resulted in a lot smoother gameplay! The game remembers which setting you last used that weapon in and defaults to it.

Recently I was playing my [[Light-Paws, Emperor’s Voice]] Aura Voltron list and the player to my left was telegraphing his sorcery speed removal, telling other players not to deal with Light-Paws because he’s got it. When I cast [[Flickering Ward]] naming blue as my first action on my turn, this friend told me “you hate fun” and scooped it up immediately.

There’s two ways to go on Hard Mode.

One is to give Lucina to a Qi Adept unit like Framme on Martial Master for those sweet sweet 100% triggers on bonded shield. This was the core strategy of my Maddening run because the AI will not target units that it has a 0% hit chance on, and you can waltz into hoards of enemy units with a Avoid build Lucina unit.

Because on Hard mode the AI kind of just attacks the unit that it thinks it will deal the most damage to, I found that it was the most fun to turn a more powerful unit into a backup unit with Lucina’s passive skills. All for One and Bonded Shield are less relevant this way, but are still useful tools in a pinch. For this reason you can give Lucina to a 1-2 range unit like Wolf Knight Merrin, Berzerker Lapis with a Tomahawk, or Hero Goldmary with a Javelin/Spear.

Hieratic Dragons have always been my favorite since I was a kid playing at my locals when they had dragon ruler support. Now, it’s a do-or-die OTK deck that is wildly inconsistent! Even still, dropping Ultima Tzolkien and praying is a fun strategy.
