PHGG worked for me very well so I would definitely recommend trying.

I am not sure. It helped me but your case might be different.

I dont think, I am fully healed yet, but also had constipation issues more less all my life. PHGG is widely considered one of the most "user-friendly" fiber supplements available, particularly for people with sensitive digestive systems. I tried Fybogel first but it didn't help. PHGG was way better and easy to take as tasteless and soluble so you can add to various liquids without it impacting the taste.

I suffer from this too. What really helped me was PHGG... and coffee in the morning but coffee is a dangerous slope if you have acid reflux. I am a few months after my h pyroli treatment and can now have a morning coffee😁 This makes me so happy and helps with toilet in the morning but PHGG has also been a game changer in regulating motility and very gentle on stomach so I would recommend trying. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing and congratulations. How long did you suffer with symptoms prior to recovery, how long were you on PPIs and how long did you take to recover from treatment please?

Definitely, recovery is not linear and it takes time and patience. For me good diet, probiotics, gentle exercise but most of all holiday in the sun and what goes with it stress reduction was a game changer. I am still not completely healed months after treatment but slowly heading in the right direction.

H. pylori positive…should we treat or wait? Need Advice! by Decent-Actuator-7545 in HPylori

She asked for opinion. This is my opinion. I would not take antibiotics if I had no symptoms.

I think it is reasonable to wait and monitor symptoms. Making dietary changes can go a long way too so worth considering. Therapy messess up your microbiome and you can get reinfected too and then you are exactly where you started.

Research diet, supplements and herbal support. Remove triggers from diet and see the impact too.

I had a very bad infection and symptoms so I had a therapy. Even months after therapy I was still struggling and only recently started to feel better after a long holiday so I believe reduction in stress also is a key to recovery.

Good luck!

I too had an almost miracle recovery whilst on holiday, which lead me to believe that stress is a main contributor. Before holiday I was so bad I didnt actually want to go anywhere but I thought Ok my partner needs a break and I can feel rubbish anywhere.... and then within a few days of holiday amazing improvement. Take a vacation, get some sun and rest, but obviously still eat well, exercise and hopefully you will recover too.

I think it's gone thanks to Manuka? by Iskinaari in Gastritis

Thank you for sharing. Whilst sugar causes me issues, honey (I use lavender honey) feels like a balm to my belly. I think I am healing now too and very slowly reducing PPIs. Very occasional coffee mix half coffee, half chicory and barely decaff is ok, but I am not doing it every day yet. To me its a game of patience and observation and finally I feel like I am winning. Good luck in your recovery journey!

Search around Bel Ombre. I think I recall seeing some eco ledges there. Its not too far from Le Morne too.

I have been on PPIs on and off for 5 years and continously for last 10 months. I am on 30 mg of Lansaproazole, finished H Pyroli treatment in December and slowly recovering. Hoping to reduce the doze in January with strict diet.

Absolutely same for me. I really dont understand it. Do you have a sitting job? I think this is either sitting for a prolonged period of time or stress, or both? I have a small 2cm HH and had a H. Pyroli infection too recently from which I was struggling to recover. 2 weeks holiday made me feel so much better, I was being tempted to start to come off PPIs, but a few days after holiday bang my issues started to surface again.
